The YSL Icare Bag looks like a fragrance gift with purchase. It looks like the bags that everyone tries to pass off as the true luxury but they really got it from the Macys Fragrance department. You know what I mean?

I'm very drawn to the LV side trunk and dare I say it gives me Loewe puzzle bag slouch vibes. The YSL icare tote grows on me each time I see it. If Gucci had given the choice of matching webbing or contrasting for the attache, that bag would have already been add to cart!

The LV side trunk is so unique and fun! I just wish they had it in some solid leather options sans monogram for us more minimalist girlies! And despite being a major Celine fan.... agree that latest bag is just a snooze fest.
Agree with the Gucci Blondie. While it is an archival design, it didn't look fresh as a 're-edition' bag. It's giving vintage/thrift store vibes except they are charging thousands of $$$ for it.
The Givenchy Kenny bag is one that I found surprisingly cute! It would totally look amazing with evening wear 🤩

I fell in love with Fendigraphy (almost the only new release designer bag that made me fell in love, all others I find totally meh) and was holding back because I was afraid it was trendy model and how the hardware is going to scratch easily. Now I am thinking about getting it :D
“Free gift with purchase” - Celine 😂😂 Going to check out the LV trunk bag. My only thing with the YSL tote bag is that it’s been plastered on SM so much that I don’t care for it anymore. 😞

Great video! Happy to hear your positive thoughts on the Fendigraphy. I bought a small one and also purchased a matching guitar strap which allows me to crossbody the bag. That strap adds a whole new dimension. Worn on the shoulder, it's bold with the large FENDI hardware in full sight but when it's worn crossbody, it's completely under the radar as the FENDI becomes the bottom of the bag with no other visible logos. I love it!
This bag has been on my radar for a while! How do you find the wear and tear on the leather? I love the style and design, but wondering if it will age well if you know what I mean…

I have the fendigraphy, absolutely love it. It’s far easier to get in/out of it vs. the Jodi. Holds much more than you’d think! Great bag, goes with everything.

I loooooove the side trunk but I definitely prefer it in anything other than the traditional monogram. I mean, it does look fire in that but I’m just a little over it. I think in a metallic it would be ~chef’s kiss~. And I completely agree with you about the last Celine bag. What were they thinking? It looks like someone got a cosmetic pouch and added an Amazon strap. The strap is unforgivable. I’m really shocked that it’s Celine of all brands. Loved the video!

This was a great round up!! 👏 I actually got the LV Side Trunk in store a couple of weeks ago. Have always loved the luggage but can never afford the trunks (nor are they practical...ummm...TSA I see 👀 you) So this was the next best thing. It holds a lot. Love the shoulder and crossbody options. And love the juxtaposition of slouchy body and sharp corners.

Just got the Chanel 22 in medium tweed. It is really beautiful. I love all things hobo so this is my jam. Its also very well made.
The fendigraphy seems like a better version of the vibe of the Dior Vibe bag. Also it's on my to buy list in either the wrist or medium form. I getting a peekabo, then baguette/le maillon satchel before.
I also feel at some point i'm going to get sucked into the coolness of the icare bag. it's also a really light bag for how much leather it has. though by the time i've bought higher priority items the trend might be over. Plus i've really enjoyed having a large tote bag for running errands around town.
These videos are super helpful thanks Cassie 💕 I bought three bags this year. Two were YSL. One was incredible quality (SDJ), the other abysmal (terrible wear with minimal use in just four months). So I don’t know about YSL…
The mui mui bag i do kinda like. When i think of them I do imagine that style shoulder bag. I consider it in pink.
The LV side trunk is a stunner 🤩 it’s so tempting.
I am with you on the Chanel and Gucci Blonde. The YSL is just too big for me, but better choice than those two. I can do the Gucci hobo bag for a long period of time. Love the LV trunk, but worry about the wear.

With how popular Miu Miu has been for the past year or more I’ve been so surprised they haven’t been pushing more bags. Miuccia has dropped so many at Prada I’m surprised they haven’t done the same at Miu Miu to really cash in on all the buzz

I love the size of the YSL however I just wish the logo was more understated the large logo just sitting on the bag is tacky to me.

I so badly want the YSL Icare, but then remember I can’t keep a shoulder bag on said shoulder. I am bereft. 😢 Even though a huge Gucci fan, I totally agree with your assessment of the Blondie. I think it’s the logo hardware that puts me off. It’s just wrong. Love the Fendigraphy, want it VERY much, even though I’d have to use it as a top handle. The Prada leaves me cold. Looks like a knock off. And talk about a bag that’s been in the cupboard since the seventies. I was around then, so I REMEMBER. On the other hand, I'm done with Chanel bags for the foreseeable future due to quality issues. In your previous videos, you happened to mention something about the way the Calfskin has signs of rubbing (I'm paraphrasing) at the slightest touch and sure enough.....I went back and looked at my Mini Flap Bag and after a whopping 2 wears it does have signs of rubbing on it!! I don't know if anything can be done about such a thing but I paid an obscene amount of money for it. Goodbye Chanel, I hardly knew ya. 😭
