It is too short and very thick, 9mm thick it is totally unnecessary!
Even tanto version which is a longer blade, obviously this thickness it's too much!
I think the optimum thickness of one serious fixed survival/camping/fighting knife, should be maximum 7mm (0'28) nothing much.

In an urban survival situation you might need to pry open car doors, house doors, windows,… who knows? A very thick pry bar of a knife might come in handy. You could keep it in your car or Truck as a backup knife or a “Just in case knife”. I only purchased it for the thickness. That’s what drew me to it. It’s a bit of a Novelty.
