Hi Lina, Another excellent video. There are a couple very useful phrases in here that I will try to work in starting today. The hard part is remembering to use them when the situation arises. This one "Я не хотел тебя/ вас обидеть." will come in handy, especially as I can manufacture the situation (carefully) at first. I'm starting to collect a lot of these phrases and it is amazing how often they are useable. Extremely useful. The problem lies (for me) in remembering them when you need them. Any tips? I try to always use the ones I have when the situation occurs. I know whenever my wife says, "understand?" (in Russian or English) I respond in Russian, "Я понимаю" or Понял. It really helps. It also makes her think I am paying attention to her which may or may not be true!!!
The hard part is remembering to... No, no, no ...do not read or write simply to remember but do it to understand first, period. Then, go on until you get used to it.

@@traduciendoconroger.7494 Thanks. I wasn't clear. I understand these phrases. I have been at it for over ten years and have a Russian wife. I speak Russian everyday but not fluently by any means. I still have trouble knowing what to say in situations. What I meant by remember is I respond to something in English then 5 minutes later kick myself for not using the Russian phrase that I know but am not automatic. I can say things I need to, for example when we go to a Russian store, but I have to think about it and carefully put the sentences together. These phrases allow me to have automatic responses to things without thinking about it. When I hear the phrases I use regularly in a movie, I understand them instantly, But most things I hear, I am familiar with the words, but can not put it together. It is getting better but very slowly. It just feels like the phrases are the things I do not have to think about and feel like "fluent" in those. I say this because whenever I hear them I do not have to think what they mean. I am trying to expand the amount of the language that I can deal with automatically.
Я в пути could be said as: Я в дороге ? In Polish noun DROGA means road in english, дорога in russian and it also can mean путь in russian and way in english adjective droga means expensive "Я в пути" could be said as: "Я в дороге." ? or if i said "Я в дороге" people would think that i was standing on the road and i got steamrolled, so i would be literraly in the road? 🤣🤣🤣
