Many of you requested we'd do another Queen cover. We decided to challenge ourselves and record "Bohemian Rhapsody" - thanks for all the views, the comments and the love and without further ado: th-cam.com/video/2gvcVYMClmg/w-d-xo.html
I’m a musician, singer and manic Queen fan since 1982. This is by far the best cover of Brighton Rock I’ve ever heard. And i’ve heard a lot of them! Huge respect to all four of you!!
Normally I don't comment on TH-cam videos. Normally I always wonder why some semi-talented garage bands post videos here. Normally I never watch these videos to the end. Normally every Queen cover band embarrasses itself to the bone. Because Queen is uncopyable! But this video is different! You have impressed me beyond belief! Quite outstanding! Especially the guitar work (and I don't mean the delay middle section). All played so loosely and in a flow. So much joy of playing! I bow my head! Now I'll have to see if I can find any more from you.
i have certified myself a queen nut for over 40 years(i'm 53). "Brighton Rock" is one of my desert island top 3 queen tunes and you guys nailed it. so wish i was in that basement that night you guys did this. the tune is only half over and it just keeps getting better. thank you and do more. cheers from canada.
Exciting. It's 2024 and this is still the best cover. Not only of Brighton Rock, but it's one of the few that captured the Queen spirit. You can see the joy of the guys having fun while playing the song with precision. Exactly in the vibe of this music.
I'm friends with a lot of Queen fans and some former crew members including my cousin who used to be their lighting director from back in the day. I sent this to Roger Taylor's former drum roadie Crystal and he rather enjoyed this!!! Even though he had to sit through these long solos for years! LOL!
I’m beyond impressed. This is one of the best Queen songs and you guys are simply killing it. I’m listening to your 2019 album on Apple Music now and hope you guys release more music because you’re exceptional musicians.
Why oh why, have I only just discovered this! I saw Queen perform this live a couple of times in the 1970s and I take my hat off to you guys...Nailed it👍🏻
The musicianship for the whole band is superb. You nailed what is a difficult song to play. I particularly love how you got that Fender to sound like the Red Special.
When this record came out i was totally floored and to hear this is so gratifying. You guys bring an old man real joy!! Now how bout STONE COLD CRAZY???
First time i saw Queen was March 7, 1976 at the Berkeley community theatre on their first headline tour of the US. Night of the Opera was released shortly after tickets went on sale. Was an incredible show. Second time I saw them was the close out show of their world tour at the Forum in Los Angeles in 1982 which ended up being the last formal show they ever played in the US (other than a SNL appearance) and it was something else. Started with Brian doing a guitar solo by himself with the band joining in one by one playing we will rock you (lasted around 15 minutes-blew everyone away and only got better from there). This band Muff the the best thing I have seen for a long time. They desearve to be rock stars as they have the talent. If you read this let me know where you are based out of. Thanks for your entertainment!
OK this is the best Queen cover I've ever heard. Not only is it technically brilliant you caught the energy and the vibe!! And what a song to do it with!! Bravo!!!
You gotta be kidding me! I'm a hugehugehuge Queen fan. I've seen them do this tune live. I'll take your live version of this one any day! Amazing. Thanks much!
Sensational !!!! You guys rock ! Simply outstanding cover of a queen classic. I would love to hear you guys try flick of the wrist or Stone cold crazy.
Amazing...! I can't believe there are such cool queen genes in the Netherlands! Even better than Robbie Valentine! ! I'm sure it will be popular in Japan too!
Wow! Just brilliant! You guys really nailed it, and it looks like you had as much fun playing this legendary track as we all did listening to you play it! Superb!
I've been a Queen fan for a long time and I can honestly say that that was one of the best cover versions of Brighton Rock I have ever heard. I can't fault it. That was superb. The only thing that surprises me is that you don't have more views. Great work guys!
Fantastic job!! I actually stole the Sheer Heart Attack album - this being the opening track - from my local town's Woolsworth's store in the summer of 1975 when I was 14 back in my native N Ireland. My brother and I did a double act where he distracted the lady on the sales counter by asking her to find an album cover while I found the inner sleeve in the back store. In those days, the album cover sleeve would be on display with a code number handwritten label on it so that the sales assistant could match it up with the disc in the back store. In 1994 I lived in the same village that drummer Roger Taylor lives in (Thursley, in Surrey, England) after I'd come out of the Royal Navy a couple of years before. I met him several times over a few years and went to his house on a couple of occasions with other friends and went with his band, The Cross to some of their gigs. I confessed to him about my theft of the album 18 years earlier. He didn't look impressed. But I think he understood that my obsession with Queen was so strong that I risked getting into big trouble more with my Dad than anything else I had to fear back then! I didn't take the album home for about 6 weeks when i was confident that I could explain my purchase of it by saving up enough of my summer job money cos we never got pocket money back then out of school term. A part of me is proud of what I did even if the conditioned instinct is to feel guilt.
