Arunachal Pradesh in particular and North East India in general are tribal lands. Their life style and food habits are guided by their culture.
Recently, a video was widely circulated in the social media where in it was advised by some cow protectors to stop consuming beef in Arunachal Pradesh. The message sparked sharp reaction from the society.
The video tells about the reason why beef is consumed in the state and the region.

How to cook delicious boiled beef (Naga Style).
You'll need:
1 kg Beef (finely chopped).
4 medium sized potatoes.
2 Medium Tomatoes.
10-15 Sichuan leaves.
8-9 Green chillies.
1-2 table spoon Chilli powder.
Add salt per taste.
Prep:
Put all the ingredients in a Kadhai, add water and cook untill the meat tenders.
Serve with rice.👍

There should be no ban of any food item anywhere. Beef is a favourite delicacy of many people.
I have been tough from LKG that cow is domesticated animals like other animals (pig, hen.....). Its sourse of food and provide us leather, meat, milk and many byproduct. The concept of Hinduism should not influence to others tribes. Every life has a purpose and its own biodiversity and foodchain. We Arunchali domesticated according to our need, if cow does not have a means in Arunachal we could not have seen a single cow here, neither those so called dongi sadus could have a point to advise us on our habbits....

Beef not necessarily tribal food. It's chrustian, muslim n anti hindu people's food. Himalayan tribal from jammu to sikkim donot eat beef. Rongpa, rung of uttarakhand , limboo, rai , tamang , gurung , magar , sherpa , sunuwar , yakkha , lepcha of nepal, sikkim donot eat beef. Some of them eat buffalo but not cow. These r all tribes of Himalaya. Bodo , diff kachari tribes of Assam donot eat beef. Except some Christian converted. Kiannauri of Himachal also donot eat beef.

Cow is a mammal( Female cow produces milk after birth of the calf ) . Humans are also mammals( human female produce milk after child birth) . Atleast try not to eat any mammals like Goat sheep cow pig. The whole point of not eating Beef is that we should not eat the meat of any animal whose milk is used for human consumption like goat milk , cow milk, Buffallo milk. Because its a symbol of animal who is like a mother figure. It's scientific point not a religious point . I hope we have all studied about mammals in the book of science.
