I also have the scout regular. Can confirm the peg scraping, the extended reach (I’m 5’7”) needed and general enjoyment. I like it but love the rogue (my son’s) fit better.
Thanks, nice summation of all the models and HD comparisons. Ex Road Glide owner and I loved my RG but I feel the Challenger is a better looking ride.😊
Peculiar situation indeed. Whats that you ask? .... Well, Indian has teamed up with LITAS, but not with another entity which itself has promoted women riders of the Indian brand of motorcycles & motorcyclists. That other group/ program/ whatever you choose to call it is: Indian Bike Week in August in Wisconsin. Is it a par-a-dox?...... " a seemingly absurd or self-contradictory statement or proposition. " Oh I'm just a senior rider who has seen over 7 decades of life's ups & downs, twists & turns. SO what's behind the decision makers in this matter? Can someone step to the plate with a reasonable explaination. Thanx from just another 'low on the totem pole' rider of senior Indian Bikes. .respectfully........😮.
Posted their linup too early? A lot of motorcycle companies released their lineup in Aug-Sep. As far as Harley goes. I was seeing 24 models on the floor in late October. 24 Indians didn't hit the floor until mid Nov.
I pull my info from the websites, which for some are only partially updated. For instance, Honda still hasn't updated their entire dual sports lineup for 24 yet. Up until last week, Yamaha hadn't updated anything. Where have you seen 2024 Harleys? I thought they didn't ship 24 models until January.
@@jasonb8769 Rocket City Harley's website only shows '23 models, nothing 2024. From what research I've done, Harley has not put new models on the floor in August/September since 2020. With the supply chain disruptions in the pandemic, they moved new releases to January and it's been that way since. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just letting you know what I'm finding online. If they do in fact have 2024 models on the floor, I'm guessing it's an anomaly, not the norm.
He also talks about Kawasaki, Yamaha, KTM, etc. I've owned Kawasaki, Indian, and Harley, they have all been good in their own way. It's not about what you ride.
I have a 2014 Chieftain an amazing motorcycle I think the new Indian lineup has lost what Indian is they did away with the big fender which is Indians trademark the new fairing looks like a Harley-Davidson I think in the end it will hurt them they did away with the Vintage the Dark Horse the classic that's at Indian apart from other brands I would never buy a new Indian I just believed they lost their heart and soul but I wish them the best
I agree. I think they need to differentiate themselves in the marketplace. It seems right now like they're just trying to be a better Harley instead of an Indian.
I almost laughed when you showed me the scout rally you cannot just put nobby’s on a street bike and call it a scrambler and give it an inch more ground clearance you have to have a skid plate nothing I would takeoff Road forget about the nobby’s How about some suspension travel
Yes. I saw an article talking about how Indian is struggling financially and is going to have to do some restructuring or something. I'm not sure why they think raising prices is going to help anything, it's just going to make it worse.
For the same reason I report on Kawasaki, Honda, KTM, BMW, Suzuki, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Ducati, etc. while riding a dumb HD. It's about creating content helpful for other people, not about being a jerk to people who ride something different than I do. Or that you do.
Love those Indian motorcycles!
They just keep getting better and better 👍
😊 good job on this run down
i cant understand why they stopped making the vintage dark horse...best bike ever
Kind of like why did Harley stop making the Sportster Evo.
it couldnt pass emissions standards.@@cruisinwithphil
Of all the lineups I've seen yours was the best in my opinion. Good job!
Thanks!
Greetings CruisinWithPhil thanks for the video! I am currently riding a 2022 Indian Challenger love the bike! two wheels down my friend! 🏍
Nice!
I love the springfeild style I just wish that it had the 116. I own a 2013 cheiftain Darkhorse and that 116 is a peach.
I also have the scout regular. Can confirm the peg scraping, the extended reach (I’m 5’7”) needed and general enjoyment. I like it but love the rogue (my son’s) fit better.
Lacking color choices specially with the Chieftain and merchandise choices with Indian.
Bring back the chief vintage!

I like the Springfield, that's about it.The FTR bikes look hideous imo.

Just wish they would add a fuel Gauge and make an LED Headlight stock on the Scout Bobber
I don't understand why anyone is putting halogen lights on stock nowadays. Doesn't make any sense at all why all bikes aren't LED.
The Electric Chief 😊
😀
I wonder if they doing a Jack Daniels bike for 2024.
Pricing, that’s Polaris for you. It use to be a reasonable price name.

Rocket City Harley Davidson, Huntsville Alabama. Last I checked, all models were not on the floor, but some 24 models hit the floor in late September.

Riding a Harley while he talks about indians lol

The new bikes are nice. But still don`t like the design of the new Chieftain. Sticking with my 2018 till they change them.
