My mom was watching this recently and I ended up watching a few episodes with her and I really liked it, I loved the intro and the show is great, but guess what MY MOM SKIPPED THE INTRO ALL THE TIME it was so sad lol
I've of course have never seen this Law & Order. I've seen only Law & Order original, Law & Order: SVU, a LITTLE BIT of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and never Law & Order: ,Organized, LA, Trial by Jury and True Crime. Although I want to but sadly Law & Order: UK isn't on tv or on demand.
I watched a few episodes on BBC America when I could. The network bounced it around alot. Learned a bit about British law, and British police work. I liked when I could find it.
I find it interesting that before jury deliberations in the UK, the judge can voice their own opinion about the case and suggest a verdict on the defendant. The jury doesn't have to rule according to the opinion of the judge, but they usually do.
I'm guessing the show's composer wanted to do their own thing. I would preferred if they did something similar, but different, the way all the spin-offs did.

Why is this shown in the US first? I appreciated that it's partly funded in the US, but it's a joke that a programme based in the UK is shown first on the 'other side of the pond'. Grrr!

The bigger question is, why aren't they using the Law & Order theme music?

Bradley Walsh....same one who became quizmaster for "The Chase"?
The very same.
Five! And Martha!
Bradley was just hilarious when it comes to the Chase
Freema! 😍🔥
It's a riff on the hymn Jerusalem by Hubert Parry.
Hi, I'm Spanish and I don't understand much English, and I don't understand music either. Could you explain to me what a riff is?

Those wigs are funny
The only thing wrong with this version of L&O is the most absolute shiate theme song possible. Otherwise I enjoy it.

It was shown on *ITV* first as it's an *ITV* show, like practically every other British detective show in existence.
