BTW, Greg. I love tamales, but one day I was in the mood to make some, but only had some chicken curry (yellow) already made for a filling ... so I tried it. What a great combo!!! Then I tried beef curry (red) another time ... again a real treat! Give tamales a try and make them Aussie flavored :)

Ha. My name is Greg and I have been to Thailand many times. Those 7-11s really can be fun. Grab a cup of soup late at night, the frozen burgers of type chicken or shrimp go in the microwave and they cut up fresh lettuce tomato and onion.. burger kung! A hot dog on the run is OK. Beer or a cold gatorade on a hot day can be quite refreshing. Plenty of snacks like pistachios, cashews, etc. and all the other things. Usually the girls behind the counter are quite nice to deal with. You can top off your mobile phone with minutes if you have a pre-paid type of old fashioned thing like I still do.
This was original! I never would have thought to eat packed meals from 7-11 in BKK. In Kuala Lumpur we have 7-11s but they were never famous for frozen meals,... i dont remember them having such a big array, just a few snacks. Now that i am in Europe i miss having food stalls open 24-hours... sigh! Looks much more fun doing these videos when you have a partner.
Sawadii khrap khun Greg (Good day, sir Mr. Greg) I learned in my two years in Bangkok and environs, not to put my fingers in my mouth or nose :) Be safe and healthy and drink the beer right from the bottle(s) and use the wooden chopsticks when eating out in Thailand :) Even mixed drinks can cause a few days of wish-I-were-dead, as you take a sip on some ice remaining in the bottom of the empty cocktail glass ... even the glass itself can do the dirty ... :( BTW, I was in the Army, and required to have lots of inoculations for various diseases, some of which are not required by traveling there (Asia) as a private citizen. It might be a good idea to check out which you might get that would further protect you and your loved ones and friends, when next you visit your physician ...

6 bucks for all that is pretty good . It's pretty much hit or miss with frozen stuff like that though . But as you mentioned , after a night of drinking , some of those things are yummy.
The ham and cheese toasties are the best around 30bt they cook them for you and are a good filler when on the lash other than that street food is the go.
