- There's all kinds of accommodation in Siwa, but which is best? A hotel in the city center, or a camp on the outskirts?

Want to donate to the channel? You can buy me a shawarma! 😂 I recently discovered this website "buy me a coffee" exists and created an account, because, well, why not? I really just appreciate your support by watching my videos and I'm not asking you to donate, but, if you feel like it, now there's a place you can. Donations will probably just go to me making more street food videos. Here's the link: www.buymeacoff...

Awesome video.nice to meet old friends 🎉
Thank you! Yes it was really great to see them, and fun to surprise them 😄❤️
Thank you so much for making and uploading this video~ haha i got emotional when seeing this one in particular; the people, the sights- the beautiful history and just the visuals in general- it almost shot me back in time … this video is NOW one of my favorites! Thank you for traveling to Siwa and documenting it from your point of view! I loved it very much! Shukran, Habibty! 🥹🥲🫶🏻✨ it made my heart happy
Thank you so much j.suis 🙏 I'm glad it touched you in such a way. This oasis is so beautiful, and the people so kind. It really is such a special place ❤️
May I ask why u got emotional? I mean, are u an Egyptian from siwa ?
@ I am not, actually.. but as a kid I’ve always loved all things Egypt and Egyptian related, from history, to artifacts~ down to Perfumes, the people~ it all just fills me with the best kind of curiosity and fascination. 🫶🏻 I love Egypt and its history. The culture and the people; it should all be valued and appreciated. Being one of the most ancient civilizations in human History, it deserves to be felt, respected and admired. 🫶🏻✨ and that’s what fills me with emotion, seeing the people, the sights and how it’s still alive and maintained it’s history- it’s so amazing ✨
I love watching your channel. You have taught me / us so much Egyptian culture and the common language to use when in Egypt. Thank you.
Thank you Lucy! ❤️

Siwa is truly magical! Truly, an enchanting little oasis community in this remote desert. I love it ❤️
You're a courageous explorer.
So cool you got to see old friends! Siewa looks so remote!
It's very, very remote! Absolutely magical place though, I love it. Well worth the long drive! 😍
Awesome 💯
Siwa seems to be an amazing place! Thanks for showing it, I would love to see more of this

It looks very chilled out there, the kind of holiday I'd like ,nice to see old friends again and I can just imagine that tasty food.
Yes, very happy to be here, and happy to see old friends! 🥰
Such a beautiful video
amazing place, damn. When you were ridding the motorcycle, in my mind I was like "red hair, red scarf, red bike, yeaaaaaaaah that will stick out a lot" and in the video you can see all the men turning their heads to look at you lol and then you stopped and said that you are getting a lot of "looks" ... I was like "YEAH CALLED IT !!" lol, but they are all so nice and friendly. 10 / 10. Good job Gigi for showing us this Oasis ! Keep it up !
It's a beautiful oasis ❤️
@@Gventures yes indeed
So much fun to surprise people like that! How lovely you got to see them 🙂
Haha yes I was so happy they were there and taken by surprise! It was great to see them, I've hung out with them again but of course, off camera
Beautiful-houses crafted from mud or mud bricks, adorned with shades of blue, create an entire universe of their own.
It is gorgeous! An enchanting little oasis in the far-flung reaches of the Western Desert. I'm so lucky to be here! ❤️
Oh wow! I’m here in cold, rainy UK and you’re bringing literally a ray of sunshine into my life. What an unusual quant place. Your friends are happy to see you. Well done lady biker 🩷
Thanks tiger! Siwa truly is an enchanting little village way out here in the middle of nowhere Sahara Desert, I'm loving it ❤️ And so happy I was able to surprise my friends!

Oh, my goodness! I'm so jealous! Siwa is a gem.
Do anyone realize that these rooms could be over 1000s of years old!!!
I am just blown away by that fact...
🌹nice vid
Love it I will definitely be there one day
I recently found your channel and I’m making my way through all of your videos 😍 I moved to Egypt from Canada 3 years ago and it makes me happy to see this beautiful country through your eyes. Have you been to Sharm el Sheikh yet? If you ever come, I’d be happy to show you around. Keep it up 🙌🏽🫶🏽
Oh, it sounds like we moved here around the same time then! I moved to Cairo just a little over 3 years ago 🥰 I have only passed through Sharm el Sheikh though, I have spent more time in Dahab, as it is more my vibe. But if I ever end up going to Sharm, I will let you know, and appreciate the invitation. And thanks for subscribing! Welcome to the channel 😁
@ I love Dahab too. It’s my happy place. Both Dahab and Sharm have changed a lot in the last year or so. Especially Sharm. Unrecognizable actually even from the time I moved until now.
Enjoy your travels! Looking forward to seeing more.
I liked the camp so much
A great place to disconnect ❤️
Absolutely! Siwa is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature. The camp is a very peaceful, quiet paradise where you can drink tea, star gaze, eat fresh, locally grown dates and olives, and appreciate life in all it's beauty ❤️
what a beautiful place which you've documented Miya Miya!
What an absolute beautiful and stunning places I enjoyed this video as always you post such great experiences from your adventures Keep them coming we love your videos
Thank you Roxy! More videos coming your way! 🥰
Wow, so beautiful...Gigi, you are one happy lady back in Siwa...have some many older videos to catch up on ( including your first Siwa adventure)❤
Ahaha ah those videos are so old! Some of my first vlogs ever, and first videos in Egypt
I like all the beautiful trees that they have planted. 🌻🌞
Date palms and olive trees
Very nice Video, thanks
Really you are a very good traveller . Your reports are amazing
Thank you! 🙏🙏
Siwa looks so cool. I want to stay there. Really authentic. How do you get there without your own transport 😮
You can take a bus from Cairo or other cities on the north coast as well. From Cairo, you need to take the bus from Torgoman bus station
maps.app.goo.gl/4Ccs5kZCsfAfyXMF8
You should definitively stay for a night or two at you friends guesthause.. I think youll make a friend for life there...Love your videos as allways..
I...did stay there 3 years ago...that's how I met them and became friends with them in the first place 😅
WOW interesting place
really cool
Great, smiling and hospitable people. I wish I could have lived there in a primitive living town . Peaceful, quiet and away form the unbearable city life.
I love living in big cities, myself 😄 But Siwa is truly unique, and an incredible place to visit. Enchanting little oasis out in this desolate desert
never pull the brakes in the sand and you should be ok >> take care and enjoy
Oh definitely not! That's why I kept driving, keeping the speed going. I've learned from the past 😅
Giselle
A daring desert ride In arid hostile terrain.
I raise the hat 🎩
Gisselle
When you come back to Giza, can you make a vlog about the cost of this round trip to and from Siwa ?
Remote areas like Siwa and during the ride, did you have good communication networks
Was it easy to connect and upload your content and at what speed?
I'm not sure I will do that, but I do mention a lot of my expenses during the trip. The cost of accommodation at each place I stay at, the cost of a meal anytime I vlog, I showed the price of gas in one the last episodes, etc. I mean, this trip could be done cheaper, and it could also be done spending more money. Ultimately, how much just depends on how the person that is traveling. I could have stayed at more expensive accommodation, I could have stayed at cheaper accommodation. If someone decides to eat street food every day, it can also be done more cheaply, but I vlogged at places like that expensive Marina fish tourist restaurant in Alexandria where I got the overpriced shrimp, I went to nice patisseries like Delices, etc. Most places don't have great internet, and it takes a long time to upload videos. My hotel in Marsa Matruh had the best internet so far.
You are stupid, brother. How can a trip be full of diseases? How can it be hostile? There is a report that has been done. And a lot of research. I am that these are the safest places in the world if nuclear wars happen because they are self-sufficient in most things.

Gigi
I know you that you are on tight budget I ca not say you are frugal.
However
You can generate a cost within a range
Low budget and maximum always the sky anywhere in the world
Video reveals a lot of those kind of dug out houses, but not a lot of people about --it befits a good setting for a tale of novel such as Arabian Nights...
استمتعى برؤية غروب الشمس ❤
🙏شكرا جدا
Giselle it is a sort of cave in Shali🙂with some additions 🌸
Yes 😊
What an absolutely lovely video!! Yup, that's the life + good WiFi for sure. LOL. It's nice to see they've built the place around the springs and the date palm trees. I hope you got some of that food. :) The place has grown a lot!! But it is still a village through and through. You what was interesting? The proximity to Libya has it's influence, that was good to hear! And yes ma'am, it makes sense that the place is a little more conservative because it's so remote. But as we can all see - lovely people! As for the attire, well, it's expected and you're a-okay. Spectacle... that was funny. Thank you.
Haha, thanks man! This oasis is really incredible, and so unique in special in Egypt. It truly is unlike any other place I've been. Every place I visit in Egypt is different from the other, but Siwa is REALLY different. Due to their remoteness, their separate history...it's so interesting. I love it ❤️
@@Gventures the Egyptian version of Tibetan base camp huh? LOL. Yes, it really is beautiful. I hope you get to jump into one of those springs!! And more power to you explorer.
I always feel blessed to be No 1 😊
Lol you really are! I don't know how you manage that every time 😅 Thanks for watching Ramovator 🙏
This is an internet addict. 😂
@@Gventures All the way from from Toronto signals here are great 😀 I ❤️ your content . I'm originally from Egypt 🇪🇬
You can visit Cleopatra's Eye and take a safari trip to the Great Sand Sea because they are among the best places that deserve a visit based on personal experience.
Oh yes, I have done my research. And I've actually been to Siwa before and done some of those things in the past (3 years ago). My vlogs are also behind right now, because I am so busy riding, exploring, and recording. Then I need to edit them and upload them, so it's never live or in real time. But thank you so much for the recommendations Mohamed 🙏 Siwa truly is a magical place with many beautiful places to see ❤️
Siwa has many nice spots but Cleopatra´s Eye ist just a big scam.
What is your next trip? Will it be near Siwa?@@Gventures
@@dilach41 Cleopatra's pool may not be your cup of tea, but it's certainly not a scam 🤣It's free to swim in the pool (as far as I am aware), and it is famous. So of course, there are many tourists at the pool. But it is still a beautiful area, even if just passing through (which is what I did on my last visit to Siwa). Of course, there are a great many other hot and cold springs one can visit, amongst many other things to do in Siwa. But to call Cleopatra's Pool a scam is simply not true. Are things more expensive in that area? Yes, but that is because it is a popular tourist site. And just like in any tourist area around the world, things are more expensive. Go eat at a restaurant near the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Colosseum in Rome, and you will find the same thing.
@MohamedFaisal-l8l I don't know what you mean. I am in Siwa and exploring the oasis. But near Siwa? What is near Siwa? 😅No, after Siwa I have to ride my motorcycle back to Cairo. I've taken off a lot of work for this trip, but I need to go back to Cairo and work soon. I have an international trip planned after that, but I am not announcing it till later. It's a secret till then 😁
Hi desert adventurer, that's cool view there by the way this paste recipe called also mebakbaka with meat hot and spicy. U should try it
Wow! The more steps you do, the more it reminds me of Assassin's Creed Origins. 😮😮😮
@ubisoft you did a great job 👏
Amazing video ✌️
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you watching 🙏
I like your videos as u show that Egypt is safe and you have the courage to go to many places alone as well 🎉. My family and I watch you
@@HAMADA52359 Thank you so much Hamada!
Wowwww nice ............ want to se more .....😍🤩😍🤩😍
You certainly will! 😁 Tomorrow is a brief overview of the oasis, and after that I will be uploading vlogs. Thanks Nabil 🙏
Wow 😍 beautiful vintage looking hotel. Can you please visit the Mamlouk pyramids hotel next?
Have you already left this comment? Someone asked me to do that recently. I am on a road trip and currently in the Siwa Oasis, not in Cairo nor in Giza. And just as I told another commenter (if it wasn't you asking me to review the Mamlouk Pyramids Hotel), I have made a video about budget hotels down near the pyramids. Sorry to say, but I won't be making another. I have had many people asking me to review different hotels down there (because they are considering staying there), but I can't possibly make videos about every single one, as there are dozens. But here is the link I made about a few th-cam.com/video/XCPDnZxQjv8/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for the video.. there doesn't seem to be many TVs in the hotels there ..
Lol no, no tvs. People come to this desert oasis to disconnect
@Gventures of course .it makes sense.. enjoy the rest of your trip
@@gabymessih188 Thank you 🙏
A different world, wow. I’m intrigued. Waiting for Indiana Jones to show up lol.😊❤

Very beautiful, my father will buy agricultural land in Siwa soon and I will go there during the vacation period
Bravo! Siwa is absolutely, a very special place in Egypt ❤️
@@Gventures Everything about it is wonderful. I have friends. Their father is a man who buys agricultural land and plants it. He used to tell me about Siwa. He said that it is very, very beautiful. There are tourists. Foreigners. They go there.
New to the channel ... but I love it ^_^
Thank you Glow! And welcome to the channel 🥰
Good morning Gigi..
Good morning to you! 😁
Bayek was born here
Apparently that's something to do with Assassin's Creed 😅 I learned that today because someone else said something about Bayek 😆
@@Gventures It was well made honestly
سيوة تبدو كئيبة للغاية.

Do you know that Alexander the Great visited Siwa Oasis in Egypt. He went there in 331 BC to consult the Oracle of Amun at the famous temple. During his visit, the priests declared him the son of Zeus-Amun, which strengthened his legitimacy as a divine ruler and helped solidify his rule in Egypt ..
Yes I did know that, I was reading up on it a little bit in Alexandria, as well as in Marsa Matruh. So much history in Egypt, it's truly mind blowing
