Excellent overview of geopackages. Seen them but haven't dove into them yet. Likely will now that I've watched this. Excellent

Amigo, muchas gracias. Me sirvió mucho este vídeo. Hay muchos videos sobre como crear un GEOPAKAGE, pero este ha sido en realidad muy enriquecedor. Saludos desde Colombia.

Thanks for this Ian - is there a simple way of exporting mutiple layers into an existing gpkg as a batch?

Yes. Under processing toolbox search for package layers. Select the layers in your project and select the option to save layers to file. You can create a new geopackage or save layers to an existing geopackage. !Make sure you do not overwrite the existing geopackage though!

when I choose "change data soure" for my mbtiles file I don't find the Geopackage connection in the "select data source" popup. Strange enough in the browser panel under Geopackage the data source link shows up.. but when I click on the "fields" under the correct data source, a message appears "data was not fount in schema"...

Thanks a lot Ian. I was thinking - how are the symbology and labels retained. This allways seems to be a bit of a problem in Arc

You can save the symbology for each layer in the geopackage. GO TO > Layer Properties > Style > Save style. Select the In Database (geopackage) option for "Save style". Name the style and click OK.

Is there a trick to getting the layers to save the symbol style so that when opened it stays the same color? for example making streams blue and them remaining that way when opened from the geopackage.
