I just want to say thank you for not trashing Cuba like others do. Been honest, polite and understandable goes a big way. God bless and good luck, I will keep watching. Bye
Well I find it’s not hard!! We love Cuba for what it is and not for what we what or need it to Be!!! We have always had a good time no matter what the circumstances!!! Thanks for watching I appreciate it Mile
Hi guys, wife and I love your videos and energy , always so positive but honest reviews, we just got back from Cuba , Iberostar Pillar, pretty cool not for everyone but after a day or 2 we loved the boardwalk in front of the “beach” , food was hit and miss like moss Cuban destinations , I noticed you were around the corner at Gran Muthu but have you two been to the Iberostar Playa Pilar? Cheers
Cuba is my go to vacation destination, every year. I always have a great time. I love the people soooo friendly. I love your chanel it really gives a different prespective of Cuba to people that have never been or planning to go. Thank you finding fish.❤
We're looking to book a trip in January from Hamilton. Too bad this is only from Toronto. Last year your video persuaded us to go Flamenco in Cayo Coco. This year I want to go to Cayo Largo, but we might just go to Holguin from Hamilton 🤷♂. Keep up the grate work. I envy you. 🍻
Thanks Mike and Jen for all of this CL info! Was there in 2011 and are sold on it for this November. Was so happy to hear the deal blue diamond struck last year, was worried the island would fall into abandonment post COVID. Here’s to CL - the eleventh province!
Wow have things changed since our last visit to Sirena Beach. Do they still make you pay for the beach chairs? We did love the short walk between the 2 hotels. Friends of ours had told us that the beach had been eroded from storms. Love your videos.
Ok! LOVE your Chanel! You guys are great! I'm a solo traveler so Cuba is great! I love snorkeling! From the beach is best for me. You've been several places..what do you think is best for snorkeling beach access?
Small update. There is no free food and drink. Lunch cost about $15 US. You may get by taxi go and back from Starfish resort $4 US. Be careful, I've got "motion picture money" change from driver. It was too hot and I did not paid attention. To be under pergola you must book and pay. For sunbed they asking $1US. Overall very good place.
Hello Mike, We are heading to Cayo Largo in December. Thanks for your video on Sirena Beach. We hope to go and visit it when we get there (STARFISH Hotel) Quick question, When where you in Cayo Largo to make that video? was it this summer? I know it is low season until the winter and we are hoping that Sirena Beach will be open in December and as busy as it looks in your review. Again Thanks and I have shared / liked this video on FB PS Linda and I met you in-person at Memories Flamenco last November 2022. Cheers
I remember you!!!! Yes Sirena beach will be open when you arrive and the train goes to StarFish!!! The beach out front of Starfish is beautiful, they were working on this Summer And yes we were there in late July!!!!Paradise
Sad what has happened to what used to be a beautiful natural spot. Spent a magical day under that big palm 20 years ago. I hike out from the resorts and don't like the last mile so much now. I usually take a taxi back after the hike for 2 - 6 $ depending on the number of riders. Train is often very slow to get away and a very bumpy ride.
I'm going to Cayo coco this weekend. You can only go here from memories largo? Is there anything close by grand mutha that's where I'm going. I watched your video of there too.
Mike, Jen although we had already been to Memoires Cayo Largo we really enjoyed your video. Brought back a lot of great memories. One thing which was not been done when we were there (April 2023) was the beach improvements between Starfish and Memories beach. We may be heading back there just after Christmas. Did you folks happen to see Luis, a butler at Memories Cayo Largo who resembles Barack Obama big time? Thanks again and keep them coming!
From now on, for your information, it will cost you 40$ pesos per person / per day to have acces to Sirena's beach. Remember that 40$ cuban pesos is worth more than the US $$
Been there it was so nice

Another great video guys. Any idea why the bar is called Bar440?
No not at all must have some meaning with that number
Looks like it was a nice day.

No we didn’t have to pay but have a tip
Is the beach all inclusive for just the grand memories or is it for the star fish on cayo largo also?
I was in april 2024 and it's was no longer included..you have to pay😢
Ok! LOVE your Chanel! You guys are great! I'm a solo traveler so Cuba is great! I love snorkeling! From the beach is best for me. You've been several places..what do you think is best for snorkeling beach access?

No!!!
It’s a long way

You will have a good time in Grand Muthu
Take a 5 taxi to Pilar Beach
@@Finding-Fish can't wait. I've been to Pilar many times I was hoping to try something new I've never heard of this beach before oddly.

I don’t think we met Luis- but everyone was so friendly and hardworking!
Glad you enjoyed it
But Paraíso beach had its Snack Bar too,
Wasn’t opened at the time
Did that have jet skies at the beach for rental?
No rarely see them!!!
They do in Cayo largo
No flight from yyz. Tried to book the other day.
Yup I think the island is closed for the summer
How often can you go to these beaches during your stay?
Everyday!!!
I was planning to stay at starfish canyon largo. Can I take the train from that resort to go to the other beaches? Or that only for memories resort?
no it goes from Starfish to
@@Finding-Fishso starfish resort also has the train to go to sirenity beach and the 2 others?
Yes
I have read that it cost $40 US per person, per day now.Any one know if this is true?
I’m in the process of finding that out!!!!!
And if so from what resort if not all?
From now on, for your information, it will cost you 40$ pesos per person / per day to have acces to Sirena's beach. Remember that 40$ cuban pesos is worth more than the US $$
Oh really!!!!
Not worth $40 pesos
Lamb!?!?!?
