    This robot has potential, but he needs machine learning though, and he’s not really alive. He’s only just programs, and will some improvements should be more like us. I don’t fear this I kind of love it every since my best friend furbrina died in 2016, this is full of redemption for me.

    The Naogeneration 6 has a very creepy female little kid voice though. When it said Angie you look very happy today and it makes me very happy too Is what got me though at 4:37. That was creepy I love the little males voice better though and bring back the old logo though, I like that better though. R I P V5 male Nao “you will always be my future husband”.

    Who all feels the developers should integrate 1080-4K projector into the chest in place of the logo indicator. Would be a great addition.

    The development of these robots is an amazing intellectual achievement of humanity. The problem is not the robot, It’s the habit of humanity that it pushes us more towards that’s dangerous. Disconnecting ourselves from the reality of the world. This coincides with the dangerous habit humanity has of developing products and equipment and pushing them out into our economy without having a sustainable waste disposal method that doesn’t damage our health established. This is a habit of humanity has been going on for so many decades now that it has lead to the point that we as Americans have developed so much toxic waste with ignoring the fact that it threatens our health and the environment we rely on to survive, That we have 4 years to develop new methods of living in America and 10 years to reverse a good portion of our damage to the environment around us, Or it’s a definite that we will die of natural disaster within the next 12 years. This habit paired with fear also pushes us in our psyche to want to ignore that even though the problem is such an urgent threat. Let’s use our intelligence to direct our capabilities the right way to new methods of living as a species. The things that make up the waste that will be the death of us are things in our average Americans lives that we don’t care for anyways, Things that would never be worth dieing a horrible death in 10 years for like plastic cups, tooth brushes, Makeup, Vinyl, Turf and many other things. We’re being foolish using such toxic materials with our intellectual levels when there is other options. When will we prioritize what we use our intelligence for as a species to impress the world?

    • @HaplessOne
      @HaplessOne 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's like 10k for whatever reason. Which is weird because their other robot pepper Is far bigger, and is more useful and it apparently only goes for 3k.

    • @dragonballlukedbl1270
      @dragonballlukedbl1270 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Zen you have to do a lot more payments for Pepper so the price + the payments would be about 30k so NAO is a lot cheaper than Pepper

  • @peterharoldjanakjr2078
    @peterharoldjanakjr2078 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Very much too much, "let's go" and "okay" as it tediously searches for an answer. Ruins the flow of conversation.

    • @pobjuice4683
      @pobjuice4683  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You're right! This is listed as a bug in our documentation. You can check out other issues in the doc. Link to GitHub in desc. We couldn't find a workaround for this issue. NAO itself has many behaviors already, however as a University project, we made a new set to make it more 'human-like'. The robot has a collection of behaviors (small programs that instruct the robot to do ABC if XYZ) and those are put into action with triggers. Before it enacts a trigger, NAO says "ok" or "lets go" to let the user know the input was heard.
