I was there that day he decided to start spearing when he saw that flathead. Pretty sure it was the next day he was off buying spearing gear and the rest was history. What a true natural. The fish were and still are flowing feeding his fam as well as the neighbourhood . Love watching behind the scenes and seeing where so many of our delicious dinners have come from.
Mate when I lived at Moreton we'd use cray like that as bait to catch whiting! Lived at North Point where the camp ground is now and fished professionally...The place is sadly rooted now... To catch cray we used a long thin piece of stainless rod with a bend on the end and 'tickle' the cray out of the hole and grab him on the back with a gardening glove.

Nice Cray for the bay mate
Amazing that you can spear right out the front in Moreteon Bay and catch crays and fish like that!
How do you go climbing in and out of a boat that small?
So good.
Go Aquaman!
Thank you Nikki!
