John Harris because your success has nothing to do with your confidence. Although confidence is a big attribute for success, confidence is not in direct correlation with success. Confidence without discipline and focus will only make you confident. Also, money is not everybody’s definition of success. Some men only want enough to raise a family and work 9-5 jobs. Success is what you want it to be homie

Dont be a fucking outsider, just be real. 100p yourself. Those outsiders that you're referring to are just being themselves. People are so focused on fitting in that everyone's the same. Trying to be an outsider just makes you fake. Be real and it will come naturally.

When he says “entertain the youth quick or they will click to something else” this speaks volumes. Life moves quick and everything is such easy access that if we are unpleased by what we are hearing, watching or seeing we are able to almost instantly gain access to another outlet.

@AsapRocky Love Asap aka Rakim. I loved this vid so much that I had to watch it twice last night. One of the things Rakim said that stuck in my head was "Do whatever YOU want to do because the WORLD IS YOURS."
That is my new mantra. He's a real inspiration. There's so much he said. With that attitude you will go far in life.
I'd say that however long it takes FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS. It does'nt matter how long it takes. If you don't give up IT WILL MANIFEST. IT WILL HAPPEN. YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF FIRST BEFORE ANYONE BELIEVES IN YOU.
I've had people laugh at me, in my face when I shared my dreams with them. When that happened I just said to myself internally. "Laugh now... Y'all gonna see one day if I don't do this. WATCH. "
When 1 door closes. Many more OPEN. That might not have been the right door for you.
Keep PUSHING. THEY WILL OPEN AND YOU WILL SUCCEED.
My mother was my best fan God rest her soul. She always told me "Put your shoulder to the wheel" It's a Jamaican saying. And "if at first you don't succeed try try and try again." I always wanted to make her proud. And on her bed before she left this earth I PROMISED her I would make her PROUD.

There's so many different influential people and artist out there today that no matter what your taste is in music or be it anything there's someone you aspire to be like if not be better. Asap Rocky is definitely an example of someone that shows if you believe in yourself others will believe in you. I'd even say geniuses such as him, Marylin Manson, etc could be what makes this generation and day and age such a fascinating time to be alive. It's not the world we live in, it's the people we share it with, that's what really matters because at the end of the day the world would just be an incredibly beautiful rock without the people but it would never be more than that, just a rock.
