Heritage Town: JAIJON Doaba, Punjab, India

Visit to our heritage township, Jaijon Doaba. Both my maternal and paternal roots are there; One on each side of the seasonal river, called "Khad". once a wealthyTransit trade centre having a railway terminal, got deserted as during and after partition of India in 1947, traders moved to bigger cities like Hoshiarpur,Ludhiana,Delhi, Mahilpur and GarhShankar.
It's reviving its economy now.
