I don't care what sort of comedy you've seen before, to see low rank players play has got to be the most funniest thing any Halo player will ever experience.
There’s a huge problem with ranked right now. It is accounting for social playlists and firefight performance. Even if you throw your placement games, it still will put you in high lobbies if you are good in social. The players in the first game are probably good in random social playlists, but because the flaws system, they match up against Lucid
I was thinking that. I’m an average player in ranked but my lobbies for placement were insane. Was so clearly outmatched in all regards

I’ll never understand why ranks reset. What’s the point of grinding to a high rank only to have it reset shortly after.
A lot of reasons. After each season a lot of the game dynamics change and so does the meta oftentimes and with that comes a need to readjust people's rankings
For me i was diamond when the game came out but new maps and content I play at platinum now I just haven’t learned all the new maps yet
Rank is no fun for me. Get toxic onyx players blaming me for playing bad. Im like diamond 1 normally. Ill just wait for net season I guess
Yeah I used to play Ranked but get to a certain point and you get shit on over and over again and lose the rank you had and it is like 1 step forward 3 steps back. And I do not like to have to sweat that much on my down time.
If the idea of ranked play is to have in bins homogeneous skilled players, they mess everytime. Just select randomly people with the same rank, dont make fancy calcs or social MMR or shit like that. People that are better will win more they go up, thats it, easiest thing ever but 343 does not miss a chance do they?
