Hounds are heaven! Big doofy looking fools but they fooled us all. Mine is smart, feisty and loving beyond belief. Trusty souls the hound breed, they will never let you down.

I read the following suggestion in a children's book about pets: Dogs with long ears definitely need a narrow, high food bowl. What they are doing with the dog's ears is animal cruelty!

Thanks: it's just cause as dog owner I've only ever had retrievers, so the concept of needing to keep the ears of a long-eared dog clean is new to me.
