F23's baths looked and must have felt irresistibly good and took one for the E. I'm looking forward to 2025, to observe the wonderful parenting these two E will be getting from their parents and praying God will keep them safe giving a long successful life span to these eaglets and their future chicks of their own. F23 sure loved her bath time! She must be hot from sitting on the nest in the Florida sun for days caring for her growing chicks!! I loved watching her soak and stretch and flop around in the water, but also loved seeing the ripples she created when splashing around! The lake looked a bit low and I don't think it's rained for a while, she must feel much better after that spa treatment 😛🦅🌊 The Ees are getting sooooooo big and still bonking each other!! I hope they can get along because it's going to be crowded very soon!! 🐥🐥🦅🦅🐟🥰

Hi leslie yes the eagles can put grass on the eaglets to keep them warm as grass acts as a good insulator. But sometimes he just put grass on the kids because they are in the center of the nest bole ♥ 😂

I saw it happen live this am and was shocked at that good aim! It’s a good thing they still love to snuggle and get that goo off the growing feathers. That bath was just the best- she deserved every extra dip!
