Solar Oven - Go Sun Fusion

If you're thinking about purchasing a solar oven, here are some snippets of my journey for the past two years in using it. Hopefully, it will help.

I did diy upgrade for fusion gosun. I took two larger flat carboards, put mylar on it by using aluminum tape, and attach them to fusion's aluminum panels with large paper clips. I put clear tape around the edges of the paper clips, so they don't damage the panels. Sometimes, especially if it is windy, I have to use bucket and short lumber to secure cardboards attached to the panels. This way I speeded up fusion's cooking tine by the factor of 2 to 3. Cooking in fusion oven is very slow in comparing to gosun sports oven.

How long does it take to cook your meals using solar light?
I have one but I didn't use it outside yet

@@JuTubeLive It depends on which one you have. The go sun sport, is the fastest. Can do kebabs in 20 mins.

I'm in Canada too. Considering getting this cuz I recently got a couple of camping solar panels and 12v battery so I could use hybrid to cook even if not enough sun or night. Does the 12v power cord just have alligator clips? It must, just haven't seen any pics/vid of it yet.

I'm also wondering about spills inside the tube - how can you clean inside? Garden hose at full blast? 😅

I am amazed that more people DON'T use solar ovens. I have the little gosun tube but I have seen solar cookers made from scratch that work wonderfully!! Literally boxes, tin foil and a piece of recycled glass.

Hi dear..Thanks for the beautiful video. Have you ever used it with electricity? Does the plug work? I did hear that the heat melts the plug inside the solar oven... Dont really know if that is a common thing or it was just one time thing... Could you please try it and let us know.... Thanks alot. 🌺🍀

I haven’t bought the wire to connect it directly to the electricity so I haven’t tested that yet

Yes, that’s my mistake. I should’ve. But I made them while doing other chores or while gardening so wasn’t thinking of time.
