Everyone gets worried because of the plague in the city. Suleiman gets worried about Hürrem's health and directly goes to her. Sultana Şah finds out that Lütfi Pasha has had a meeting with Hürrem and wants an explanation from her husband. When Prince Mustafa sails without her father's knowladge, they fall aout with each other more. As Hürrem looks for a way to be able to go back to the palace, Sultana Şah tears the heart out of Hürrem.
Hürrem gets angry because of Rüstem's daring but she finds the idea of marriage logical. Meanwhile, Suleiman consults Sultana Şah about it. Sultana Şah understands that Rüstem has chosen Hürrem instead of her. She is determined to prevent this marriage.
Sultana Şah learns that Lütfi Pasha has met with Hürrem secretly and asks an explanation from him. Lütfi Pasha, who has got angry because of what Hürrem said, ask something else from his wife.
Mihrimah gets supported by Bali Bey during her mother's absence and builds up hopes again. She talks to her mother. As she was dreaming of marrying Bali Bey, she learns about Rüstem Pasha.
In the meantime, Prince Mustafa sails away to be able to catch the pirate who has ensanguined the Mediterranean. Mustafa doesn't realize that he's losing his father's trust while he's winning the people's appreciation.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

I feel like everytime a Grand Vizier has come, he has tried to improve upon his predecessor's weaknesses. When Ibrahim came, he was more hands-on than the old Piri Paşa; when Ayas came, he was way less arrogant and imposing than his predecessor; when Lütfi came, he attempted to remove all places of sin and adultery when his predecessor died from committing adultery; when Suleiman came, he wasn't bias to any Şehzade and loyal only to the Sultan unlike his other predecessors; and when Rüstem came, he mostly focused on domestic affairs. (Don't care about Ahmed lol)
