@@puppyangel4346 her family is very odd and seem greedy with anything about Selena, Abraham took advantage of Chris after Selena died and made him sign over all the rights of the Selena name, Chris attempted to create a series inspired by his relationship with Selena and Abraham sued him and WON. At this point some of us fans are overwhelmed by the family not including Chris in anything involving Selena. He knew Selena the best in my opinion, they were in love he knew her in a more intimate level.
@@Reneaukids04 that is horrible. Plus I remember in an old interview that Selena changed him in a good way and if it wasn’t for her, he would have been his old self. Taking out her husband is just immature and very disrespectful to Selena’s legacy.

Selena would always be an icon. She was loved by everyone worldwide. Her presence would forever be missed.
Chris and Selena were such a perfect match! They balanced each other out. He gave her the freedom to be herself and she inspired him to go after his dreams. It’s such a sad story but they are proof that true love exists.
Astrologically they were also a perfect match, her being Aries and him being a Leo, both fire signs!

@@ashleybaran9264 It's obvious, he's a fantastic person..Selena wouldn't marry anyone less than that. He was her soulmate and he has honored her well since she passed.
@@ashleybaran9264 Her parents tend to not include him into projects that he was evolve in. For example, Netflix is doing a series on Selena and her parents didn’t want to include Chris in it. I was mad because Chris was an important role in Selena’s life.

Seeing him talk about her, u can tell he still has a lot of love for her and seeing the images just makes me cry. I wish she was still here bcuz she would’ve been the best thing to inspire ppl lives. She was amazing and still is even when she’s gone. I wished I got to see her perform omg she is such a icon. Selena always will be a part of my childhood memories.

Just to think on April 16th this year Selena would have been 50 years old. Thank you Grammy 2021 for giving this woman her credits. Selena was the first Mexican singer I was totally invested into, her music touched me.

There are murals in my home town of her. I grew up in south Texas and I was a senior in high school when she was killed. Hearing this music took me back...and i was thinking of her yesterday....weird.

Selena opened so many doors for Latinos in this country. She started the Latin wave in the music industry. If it wasn’t for her we wouldn’t have people like JLo, Shakira, Camila Cabello, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Becky G, etc.
Now my kids are Selena fans and I’m sure their kids will be too 😍

I am still wanting to buy his book, To Selena With Love he wrote in honor of her. And get some of the MAC makeup her sister, Suzette put together because Selena would wanted to do a makeup line as well. Though, I remember being 5 when she passed makes me want my three year old daughter to keep listening to her as how she has before she was born and more so as how much I been listening to Selena. Her legacy will live on and not ever forgotten because she was an inspiration to all.

Well Beyonce actually got to meet Selena when she was a kid... she states that she was a fan but didn't talk much to her because she wasn't anybody famous at the time, was nervous and couldn't think of anything much to say. I was born a year after she was murdered but thanks to my family they introduced me to her music and her story and to this day her music inspires me and brightens my days especially when I am having a hard time.. My whole Girl Scout troop watched some of her songs when we were in elementary. I believe I was the only one who actually felt something when I watched her perform. She was so beautiful and her smile was just everything! Every time I play Dreaming of You my dad starts tearing up. She was such an inspiration to me.

He wrote a whole book. They were actually very toxic. He only knew her for 4 years. Why would they not interview the people who actually knew her the best?
