How To Change Batteries On A Weiser Smartcode Lock-Tutorial

In this video, I show you how to change the batteries on a Weiser Smartcode door lock. It is a simple process, and the smart door lock runs off of batteries so you will have to do this from time to time. As you use the electronic function of the Weiser lock, it uses up the battery power, so you'll have to replace them. It is a really simple process and it only takes a few minutes once you know what you're doing.

Slide the plastic part up and pull up the battery container. There is no need to screw-unscrew the whole cover

Mine looks identical to yours but has a third screw that is located at the bottom of the housing.

Actually you do not have to take out the screw. Just the top pops out and pull it out

The top black part will pull out, you just have to slide it up than pull it out …replace the battery and make sure to slide it back in after replace the battery. It should say lock side to insert it back

Bought this for an airbnb BIG MISTAKE - in order to delete a code for entry you have to take cover off with screwdriver EACH TIME- a big hassle. There should be a way to delete codes using the touch screen..
