Amazing you have cats loose! I would be scared that ours would either wander off or get eaten by a coyote! Thank you for sharing your trip. My first Baja trip was also to Gonzaga Bay, in 1965! Baja has been in my blood ever since!

We stayed there on the way down to Bahia LA we saw the sea Shepard fleet trying to get out of the wind and met them at the restaurant at the resort. Also say I guy noodle a halibut right on that beach.

there are a couple of different spots in the area. This one is probably the most obvious one as it is right across the street from the only mercado and it is managed by them as well.

Question, have not seen videos of travel trailers down there. Is it feasible to take a 30ft Travel trailer to gonzaga bay? Been to San felipe Kikis before but never ventured to gonzaga Bay, thanks

Yes it's possible. Big rigs drive along this route. But it can be tight in some spots.
