Assuming that ‘Vomee’ means ‘Veemo’ and that ‘Veemo’ means octarians, then you’re basically 100% correct.
My take on Splattale was that the octarians won the great turf war instead of the inklings and that the inklings were sealed underground.
Ink of it as an alternate timeline of the actual Splatoon.
Couldent splattale flowey just be stuck on squid form all the time and omega form is a kraken and his true form is an inkling or octoling

Octo won and sealed Squid underground. Here's what I think:
Flowey: Commander Tartar (instead of surrounding the player with pellets they try and blend them)
You: Agent 8
Toriel: Cap'n Cuttlefish (he fricking male I know)
Sans: Marie (Gaster blasters should be shots from chargers and if she uses them killer wails and sting rays)
Papyrus: Callie (every bone is a swing from the roller)
Undyne: Agent 4 (let's go brella style!)
Alphys: Marina (well that means we have to destroy the Undyne x Alphys shipment)
Mettaton: Pearl (no more legs, frick robot!)
Asgore: (oh FRICK) Agent 3 (ugh.. no reason to accept octavio)
Asriel Dreemur: Perhaps Commander Tartar blended everyone but only you escape, so now you just fight against the absorbed souls of your friends? Even you face his blender again.
and then NILS statue is omega flowey (but theme is actually good)
The amalgamates are some of them blended, but not all of them.

Muffet - Jelly (Queen) (Spiders are replaced with Jellyfish)

Orange Soul added as Soul Color (Turns blue attacks orange, stopping at any time mid-attack will hurt you)
