    Good day Jeff!! A superb warm up discovery again, you have so many videos in all ranges that I hardly practise the same 2 days in a row
    !!! I recorded myself along it first try on garageband, it's so much easier than when I started bass 30 years ago!! I can't thank you enough :-D

    Thanks for this warmup. It was really good, but bit high for me in parts. Flipped to lower octave when it came difficult, but still my voice got bit tired from it. I noticed slight creakish sound in my voice in the evening. I take a day off. Too much too soon I guess. Well I'm a bass so anything above f-clef notes is somewhat high. Cannot sustain my voice there for a
    long.

    Well, I now have a goal to sing all the way up this one, which apparently goes into the soprano range 😍😂😁💖. One Rolka warmup a day is like vitamins for my voice. I notice esp. that the formant develops super-fast with these concentrated warmups (vocal HIIT tbh).

    Hi Jeff, you asked us to tell you about adverts interrupting the exercise I believe. This one has 3. Still loving it though! Many thanks as always, Boyd.

    • @JeffRolka
      @JeffRolka  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! It shouldn't any longer. Three is so bad. In my naïveté I thought there'd be like one ad, but three is not cool. As I said though, should be all taken care of. Pre-roll and post-roll yes, but nothing mid roll.
      Thank you!
      Jeff

    thank you for the video. It's merely useful. I have a question: should i sing in falceto when singing over the break in the last exercises or i should try not to. (but i think the second variant is not possible. that's why its called break)

    • @JeffRolka
      @JeffRolka  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question - I talk about this in Question from Comments 3 soon to come out!
      The short answer, however, is no, not falsetto. The goal is to make a good transition to voce piena in testa.
      Thank you!
      Jeff

    This is the stuff, Jeff. Been doing this every day along with another warmup. Couple questions tho. Is a 45 minute warmup everyday too much? I'm trying to improve as fast and clean as possible. And also how are you able to tell when you should stop practicing for the day? Should I wait till my throat starts to get tight and sore? I want to push myself as much as possible without injury of course.

    • @JeffRolka
      @JeffRolka  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello! Thank you!
      A couple things:
      Don't sing until until you're tight and sore. That can prove to be self-defeating. 45 minutes isn't too long as long as you maintain good technique. If things break down or are inconsistent, put it down and come back later that day or the following day. Day to day consistency is what will make you great - so you want to design your practice to be sustainable in perpetuity from day to day. In other words, practice every day.
