I've had my D7200 since the first appeared. I love it to bits. Does everything I want and more. I would recommend anyone to buy one and get some good glass and you won't ever need to upgrade!
@@bbmubarakmubarak7899 sure sorry for the late ! well I was always shooting at 1/60 with flash, why ? because it allows you to have portraits with a good exposure and keep the lights in the backgrounds... but there is a lot of different settings depending what you want to do, so You should go to my instagram account instagram.com/french_creativ/ send me a dm for samples) (I can't actually post them on instagram),

D7200 was the peak in APS-C sensor technology, there really never been anything better as of late, maybe slightly better noise performance but dynamic range wise its the best out there for APS. and for full frame it peaked with D610
Just stumbled on this video in 2023. I recently upgraded to a Nikon D780 but I kept my D7200 and it is a great backup to my D780, which is good since I just had to send my D780 back to Nikon for some issues under warranty.
I just seen a Nikon D7200 on Facebook market place for £350. It comes with a battery, charger and camera strap. There’s also a 35mm prime and 17-55mm that I can buy along along side it if I choose. That would be probably take me up to £400? maybe a bit more if I had to guess. Also comes with printed manual and a user book. I have never owned a camera before and don’t know much about cameras. If I did purchase it I’m interested in wildlife and landscape photography so don’t know if this camera would be good for that. Would you say it’s a good deal? Thanks
You make some great points. I have just upgraded to a D7100. Two reasons I chose it over the D700: 1 it takes all Nikon lenses so I can use DX lenses and any good quality 2nd hand lens I may want to try. Keeps it all within budget. 2. Picture quality/megapixels. Loving the results after a month of daily use. Didnt want a flip out screen and other gimmicks as I mainly use it in Manual mode anyway.
I have mine since 2016. I love it. It gets beaten around quite a bit. It survived everything I've thrown at it so far. So I can attest to the tough part. I love that it has buttons for everything. You set the camera up once when you get it and after that you don't have to go into the menus ever again. All the settings you'd ever need are there at your fingertips and especially once muscle memory sets in you can use the thing so efficiently
Love my Nikon d7200 my only issue with it is the amount of noise it produces used in high iso settings in low light. Apart from that brilliant. Love the fact that most of the controls are fully customisable. The lenses been DX Nikon’s are relatively affordable and the build quality is as you say excellent. Thanks for reminding me how much I appreciate this camera. Great video!
On behalf of all the enthusiastic novices out there looking for a first camera or a step up (in my case) from an entry level camera, I would like to say a huge thank you for providing an alternative to spending well North of 1K on the shiniest newest camera that everyone else on you tube is plugging. If I could make a request it would be for a guide on how to buy lenses, what to look for, how to ensure that they are mechanically compatible etc!!! If you ever get time lol. Discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I'm a convert. Great content and beautiful photos. Much Love from Northumberland :)
Just upgraded from my D7000 to a D7200. Kind of satisfying to find your video after I'd done my own research and arrived at the same place. Firmware upgrades all working fine and have cleaned the sensor - spotless. Have to agree with all you say about this cameras attributes.
I have a D800, D7200 and a D3300. D7200 is my personal fav, with a Tamron 24-70 F2.8 VC attached to it most of the time. You are right. Absolutely phenomenal pics for an advanced consumer camera. Was then, and still is now. Thank you for putting that great D7200 in the picture again.
Bought my D7200 to replace my D90 four years ago. I recently bought a Nikon D4s to go for full frame (had a Nikon F and F3). I still carry the D7200 as a backup to the D4s because I can put a 18-300 Sigma zoom on it and not have to carry another lens for the D4s (which has the 24-70 attached).
I own 2 D7200 refurbished bodies. 1 is for back-up which I always take on the job. You are right about it being a 'beast' since I am a little tough on my equipment. For the past 5 years I have been shooting residential & commercial architectural photography with this camera (Tokina 11-16mm lens) with very satisfied customers. The 2 card slots really come in handy and I always use the 2 custom program settings (U1 & U2) which are a true bonus for the camera. Add back button focus and this is a truly great camera.
Have had an entry level d3200 for ages and am ready to upgrade. I chose the D7200 second hand just yesterday, so to see your enthusiasm for it gives me hope that the camera will do what I'm hoping it will. So thanks loads. Think I chose well now.
Totally agrre with everything you said. After starting photography with a D3300 in 2016, I got my D7200 in 2018. I have used it pretty much every day since and not once has it ever let me down. I now mostly photograph birds and use it with a Nikkor 300mm f4 PF lens. I have a x1.4 teleconverter as well if needed. It has a super build-quality and, as you say, is tough as nails - I have a neoprene skin on mine. The image quality of the setup I use is fabulous and none of it weighs very much which is great when you're my age and the back and knees are aching. Also, it having that second card slot has saved me a few times when I've been editing photos and left a card in my computer. The only real downside to the D7200 is that the rear screen isn't articulated which makes it harder to shoot video (the video performance is also excellent on this camera as you know). I like the D7200 so much I may even buy a second one so I can keep a macro lens on one and the 300mm on the other. Needless to say, I would recommend the D7200 (and the Nikkor 300mm f4PF too for that matter) to anyone. If anyone wants to see photos I have them on my YT channel so just go there for a gander.
I’ve had mine for 4 years now. Still no intention of upgrading. Maybe a Z6 some day but I’m no too bothered so far. It just works brilliantly. It handles brilliantly. The photos it takes are brilliant. The only limitation is what lenses you stick on it and how good you are.
Hi Henry...couldn’t agree more with your comments about the D7200....I upgraded from a D5000 about 5 years ago simply because of its weatherproofing. I’m more than happy with my images and wouldn’t change. It’s a work horse and power station combined....and the added bonus is it’s fits my hands perfectly. Great video Henry...keep ‘em coming.
how come he is not glorifying mirrorless camera technologies like the rest of TH-camrs whom just creating content and misleading people to make big financial pocket denting decision to buy new mirrorless camera for incremental improvements in photography.
I have both the a6400 and the d7200. Every time I take pictures of people or make videos I always bring the a6400 because the face/eye autofocus is perfect and the d7200 doesn’t come close in terms of consistency. I also prefer the a6400when traveling because it is significantly smaller and lighter. In therms of image quality, they’re about the same based on personal pixel peeping but my 7200 has picked up a significant number of hot pixels over the years which are a major issue if I turn in-camera noise reduction off. That’s kind of inevitable with age though. Still I never regretted owning the d7200 and I occasionally use it to this day. Every time I think of selling it to maybe buy myself more modern gear, I just can’t bear to go through with it
As Jon G pointed out, its not just the mirrorless specific technology. There have been numerous sensor improvements in the years since the D7200's release that are quite significant, as just one example. High ISO performance, above all, has greatly improved in just the last 5 years. Faster internal memory, faster processors, FAR superior memory cards. But mirrorless specific improvements are also many. Once you go EVF, it is very hard to go back to OVF. Can you take photographs with the D7200? Yes, can they be great? Yes. But your success rate goes up 10 times at least with an EVF. It is that significant. But it does not end there (for at least Nikon). The Z lenses are vastly superior to everything comparable F before it. Color fringing has all but been eliminated. Focus breathing greatly reduced. Lenses that are tack sharp wide open. Edge to edge sharpness. Weather sealing, 'nuff said. Focus motor noise, eliminated. And so on. Pick these apart all you want, but the totality of what we are seeing from Nikon mirrorless is nothing short of a revolution. "Incremental improvements?" Only if you are not paying attention.
Fully agree with no need for the mirrorless. Just drop one, and see what's left. Cheaper way for manufactures to mass produce, but still very expensive. A way for some manufactures to sell a new lens line only for Mirrorless cameras.
I own a Nikon D7200. Love, Love, IT. I began my digital photographic journey with a Nikon D3200, really liked it. Gave the D3200 kit to my 11 year old grand son.
I would readily purchase a second hand D7200, I have never owned or even used one. I have however owned its predecessor the Nikon D7100, great workhorse, almost 95,000 shutter actuations, 10 years old and his never let me down. Has a few (OK a lot of) scrapes and scratches after being toted around on mountain backpacking trips but coupled with a Tamron 16-300 it is my go to bit of kit. I am very tempted to buy one as I often wonder how much more life there is in my shutter. Great video and great not to be always pushed along the "you need full frame" road.
Like you, joined the Nikon club with the D3100... and was a great camera... Had 3 D300's, a D90, a D7000- and am now with just two- My D300s for sports and my D3300 fo all else :) A great camera will always be a great camera... if it does what you need- stick with it :)
Just bought one. I was thinking to move to the z-series but I decided that I did not want a complete change in regard to my main camera, a D750. I love the operations of those cameras and they are light, affordable and lenses are great and not expensive.
My first and only DSLR was also a d3100 and I've been watching d7200 prices fall for a while now. The only thing I really want out of a new camera is low light and ISO performance. Otherwise, I've been perfectly happy with the D3100's images. Thanks for the video!
Love your videos! Seems like most of the TH-camrs are talking about the latest and greatest equipment! I’m keeping my d750 and going to continue to use it! Look forward to your videos!
Great review Henry. I have had my D7200 since around 2016. I use it to shoot short films, and people often say it's not a good camera for film, I disagree, the sensor is great. People always comment on the quality of the footage, I combine it with an Atomos Ninja Blade sometimes, but I really love this camera. I'm going to shoot a feature film on it next. The guy who advised me to buy it, shot a feature film on the D7100 and it looks mint. I hope people are listening to you because you're bang on the money, this camera is great.
Finally upgrading from my trusty D90 to a D7200 which will be here on Monday and I can't wait to get my hands on it, I got a great price (sub £400) from WEX and it's only got 11K on the shutter, excited anticipation
I too bought my 7200 new because of your 2019 review. Upgraded from a D3300. Have some great glass for the 3300 and film so it was a smooth transition. And, yeah, dual card slot for ever. I don't plan to shoot fast action shots so this beast will do the job for quite some time. Vintage lenses work great too.
Brad Fisher I’m probably using mine 50/50. The thought was to have a wide angle on one and a telephoto on the other when traveling the back roads. I hope to do some occasional Astro with the 750.
Thank you so much, I’ll be getting the Nikon d7200 on my birthday, my dream is to be a full time Landscape/Nature photographer, not just for a hobby, but make a career out of it at some point, I can’t wait to get it and start taking photos on it, this video has motivated me to get into photography, and I’m so glad I have found this video, because I wanted a camera that was good for landscape and this video was perfect for finding one, thank you so much, keep up with the amazing photography and motivating others to do the same 😃
A few months ago my D90 gave up after many a year of loyal service. I was out shooting when a sudden, very heavy downfall started and I think it killed my camera. Getting it repaired cost about twice as much as what the body was still worth. Spent many hours thinking and comparing. DSLR vs mirrorless, price points, repair anyway.. But I’ve settled on this one. It seems to have strengths in things I care about most, while its few weaknesses lie in features I could take or leave. Well, I’ve got mine coming in over the next few days, coupled with a Tamron 16-300mm in a deal that’s truly a steal. I couldn’t be more excited! Sentimentally, I’m still going to miss that D90. But I know it’s going to be a huge upgrade, especially with the new lense. No more constant swapping between kit lense and 55-200mm!
Here it is Aug. 2022 and I just purchased a D7200 with 13k shutter count, miss the touch screen on my D5600 but I like the size of 7200 and it’ handling. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the D7200.
Henry I just bought a used d7200 - my d90's shutter finally went after ten years. My hawk profile photo was with the d90. The person I bought the d7200 told me to watch Henry Turner on youtube :D Ha ! I told him I'm a fan and even have his calendar :) small worlds 💜 Looking so forward to my new prize :)
Two years old and your last reason is real. I always stay about two generations behind in photographic technology. I have great lenses, and I don't think I'll ever upgrade to mirror-less. Mainly, because my current camera already has more features than I'll ever use. Thanks for another great video!
I bought d7500 5 wks ago. Toss up between that and d7200. Touchscreen did it for me. Nothing much else in between both. 1 card slot doesn't bother me as it's a hobby for me, not a business. Only used a lumix FZ82 bridge camera before so bit of a learning curve at moment. Frustration one minute, joy the next. I'm sure I'll get there.
Hi Henry, great video as always. I was recently pondering whether to upgrade from my d5200 to the d7200 for all the reasons you just stated, I actually ended up going for the d7500 purely because I also enjoy shooting wildlife and I really wanted the increased buffer that camera gives you and they are also an absolute steal. I paid £720 for mine brand new and I am over the moon with it. The only negative I can find with this camera is it only has 1 card slot, apart from that its awesome and i love it.
I’ve been using mine since 2019. I’ve grown my clientele and my photos look fantastic, im being chosen over local photographers who use new sonys and mirror less cams.
Hi Henry, a good intuitive video. The d7100 and the d7200 are still a great buy. Brilliant image quality, certainly good enough to A2. To be honest, I still prefer mine to the d850 I borrowed. One thing I’ve noticed a lot with your videos, and others on Utube, is the lack of the lens hood. Having been a commercial photographer for 30+ years, I can honestly say that I’ve never shot without one. That’s from 35mm up to 10x8. Keep snapping!
Yeah, I grew up during the Sixties in Britain, buying and reading "Practical Photography" magazine, and so many other photo guides - and a lens hood was always recommended. For me a camera lens feels naked without one - not to say exposed and vulnerable! Apart from the flare on the lens thing, so I too wonder at that! Maybe it's a generational thing!
Glad to see this pop up and it not be from 3 years ago 😂 I bought my first DSLR last year not really knowing what I was doing, and went for the D7500 (which is practically the same) . Keep seeing people going for Sony A7R's and mirrorless, but I'm still chuffed with mine, good to get to grips with photography and also the viewfinder!
I handled a Sony A7. Seemed clunky and not intuitive. Looked lovely. Images were crisp if a little flat colour wise. A lot of hype about Sony and they are fine cameras but really there’s very little between Sony, Nikon, Canon, Pentax, LUMIX, Fuji or Olympus.
Keep in mind I am not a professional photographer but it has been my hobby for six years I own the D 7200 I do mainly stills but I also take pictures of my children running around sometimes and if your lighting is correct the colors in this camera are fantastic and the quality of the results are mine blowing.
Hey Henry - I had a Nikon D3100 - and you should see the 1x3 crop print I made from that ( 24 inch by 72inch) very nice indeed - no complaints and very very (did I say very?) satisfied. No complaints and would do it again in a heartbeat if I had to. Keep up the great work!
With the invasion of Mirrorless DSLRs, it is so move to now that I have the D7200 as my primary Wildlife/Birding camera. I've always used Nikon, going on 43 years and the body can use all of my vintage Nikkor glass. Early AF Nikkors work perfectly. I can't recommend it enough. Buy one now while you still can!
At last, someone doing professional work with a D7200, I have had mine since new and not inclined to change it. I am subscribed to another channel which I enjoy his presentations but he's just gone and spent £5k+ on a medium format body and lens. I am looking forward to viewing your videos over the next few weeks.
Thanks Henry. I’m very glad to have found your channel. I bought my D7200 new in mid 2015 and have loved it ever since. It has collected 4 lenses over the years, 3 DX 1 FX, I have thought about upgrading many times - but to what? A 750, 780, 810, 850? A 500 for the focussing and frame rate? How much can I really afford to spend? I decided that I wanted to go to the next level with landscapes so Santa brought me a set of Kase Wolverine Magnetic filters. Brilliant! One day I might get a second camera body but I’ll probably get another lens first. It’s not the camera for everybody but like you it’s fits me and after 5 years of use I know it pretty well. I grew up with manual SLRs, Pentax and Olympus, so I still can’t use an EVF. Not even the new Zs or any of the Sony As. The things I like about it? Image quality, U1 (ISO 100), U2 (fast moving 1/3000), it’s solid, weather sealing, ISO 3200 produces quality images with noise reduction in post( when did I last use a flash??) OVF, auto ISO (set to max 3200), live view focussing, one button zoom to focus point in playback, bracketing, etc etc etc.......... I used to think it was a bit heavy then I bought a Black Rapid strap. Weight gone. So it’s great to see one being used by a pro getting outstanding quality results. Oh, why don’t you use a ML-L3 infrared remote?
Although I primarily shoot film I’m still shooting a D7100 in 2020 for digital & that’s still a great camera. It’s about getting the most out of the tools. If someone can’t play a guitar buying a Les Paul isn’t going to make them play like Jimmy Page.
I did last year but then realized it didn't have a live histogram.. I think I got that from your channel. Having a D7000 I really wanted that feature in a new body. So I sent it back to wex without having switched it on. You saved me a costly mistake. It's a shame Nikon have probably stopped developing this line. That was the only thing missing for me.
Upgraded my first dslr (D70s) to D700 few years back. Then bought 7200 for animals and stuff just because with my 500mm/f4.5 i still get that AF AND its 750mm with 1,5x crop. Beautiful Images. 😊
I am using this camera from the past 3 years and I just love it the only drawback is that it doesn't have a flip screen if it would have it would be amazing
You can use a smart phone as a remote viewfinder via wifi, which does the job just as well. Better in fact. It gives you some remote control too. It would be even better if you could set the exposure from the phone too.
I just recently bought a used D7200 for about $500 USD. I am impressed so far. I am primarily a OM System/Micro 4/3 shooter but wanted a body that would allow me to use my many Nikon F-mount (AF-D, AI-S, and E-series) lenses without an adapter. I also found myself missing the optical viewfinder and wanted a camera with longer battery life. I would agree that this is probably the best Nikon DX camera and is better than the D500 and D7500 in image quality because of the 24 MP vs 20 MP sensor. I chose the D7200 over the full frame D750 because of its smaller size and better handling with only a marginal difference in image quality. I would miss the smaller size before I missed being able to shoot at ISO 52,000 with the D750.
I bought a used D7100 last month on the cheap. I sold one years ago, but it makes a great DX companion to my full frame stuff. Great to take along hiking and gravel riding.
great vid Henry..I still have my D7100 and am totally satisfied with it..I also picked up a Z50 and also love it..nice to hear pros like yourself with so much common sense and not always trying to sell you something..thanks !
Great advice Henry! To look for a camera that fits your needs and spend money on the best glass you can get. BTW, I follow your advice and got a D7200. LOVE IT!!!!
It's also very useful when going on vacation overseas ... one of my cards went kaput once and I was so happy (and relieved) to have a backup on the second card. I will never buy any camera that doesn't have 2 card slots.
I just bought the d7200 with an 18-105 mm kit brand new from a famous store here in my town in Switzerland for 357 Swiss francs (300 pounds!!) Bear in mind that I was there to buy other things and I was just going out of the shop I found it in the discount corner (half price) and I couldn't believe my eyes and I bought it straight away. I've been enjoing my d300 for over 10 years but the d7200 is a great addition. BTW great channel and great content.
I followed the internal calling to moving to full frame with the D800 which I love but with the lenses it becomes a heavy lass to carry around all day so even now if I go for a stroll in the countryside you may find me picking up my beautifully light d3400 or still reach for the d7200 which I agree is a tremendous camera and would recommend anyone to buy, cameras for occasions I call it. Great vlog.
About weather protection I was filming a video in a rain and my mic's left channel broke, bad luck I guess. Now it's giving me very unbalanced sound with mumbling on left and clear on the right. So little advice here, cover the microphone when it's raining. But anyway, absolutely agree on every reason. Bought mine in 2015 and still using it as primary still image camera, but had to buy sony a6300 for video, because live view AF is quite rubbish on D7200.
Had the D7200 for years. The image quality is stunning. Use it all the time and wont be selling it or buying a new one. Nikon at its best.

D7200 was the peak in APS-C sensor technology, there really never been anything better as of late, maybe slightly better noise performance but dynamic range wise its the best out there for APS.

You make some great points. I have just upgraded to a D7100. I bought mine in January 2019 when my D7000 broke down after 9 years. I love my D7200 for many reasons.

Bad Lightning cant be compensated via ISO. Never pump up ISO better light better.
Actually this camera does better, has less noise at high ISOs than most other DSLRs. Even 25,600 is usable with some NR.
Have you noticed a difference in quality of pictures what did the firmware updates do .
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you.....i never thought any one would be talking about the 7200 in 2022...from ,Nairobi, kenya
Have had an entry level d3200 for ages and am ready to upgrade. I chose the D7200 second hand just yesterday, so to see your enthusiasm for it gives me hope that the camera will do what I'm hoping it will. So thanks loads. Think I chose well now.
Hi Jo - how are you getting on with the D7200?
Agreed David. Thanks for the comment
Cheers Mike, really glad you like the D7200 too!!
how come he is not glorifying mirrorless camera technologies like the rest of TH-camrs whom just creating content and misleading people to make big financial pocket denting decision to buy new mirrorless camera for incremental improvements in photography.
Which most new cameras aren't even upgraded for photography. Seems everything is always video heavy these days
@@KungPowEnterFist High ISO performance isn't really important for landscape photography, neither is sharpness at wide open apertures.
I own a Nikon D7200. Love, Love, IT. I began my digital photographic journey with a Nikon D3200, really liked it. Gave the D3200 kit to my 11 year old grand son.
picked up a 7200 today, only 915 shutter count and incredible condition. awsome picture quality
Dual card slots are a must for me also ... that's why the newer D7500 is a non-starter for me.
I have the D7200 for 4 years, love it, product shots and several uses, amazing camera!
Had 3 D300's, a D90, a D7000- and am now with just two- My D300s for sports and my D3300 fo all else :)
A great camera will always be a great camera... if it does what you need- stick with it :)
Well said Henry and I'll be keeping my D7100 & D500.
Like you, Henry, I love this camera. Definitely still worth buying in 2020.
Cheers Wayne, it sure is a brilliant camera!
I have had my D7200 for 2 years and 1 month, and it is great, good image quality, good HDR, a decent shutter speed, and great color.
Thanks for sharing
Just bought one. I was thinking to move to the z-series but I decided that I did not want a complete change in regard to my main camera, a D750. I love the operations of those cameras and they are light, affordable and lenses are great and not expensive.
I have the D7200 and I love it. I use it for landscape and bird photography. It is tack sharp and superb. A brilliant camera that will last you years.
Nikon Forever ❤️
My first and only DSLR was also a d3100 and I've been watching d7200 prices fall for a while now. The only thing I really want out of a new camera is low light and ISO performance. Otherwise, I've been perfectly happy with the D3100's images. Thanks for the video!
Hahaha, in the exact same position
If you're still using the 3100, I'd recommend the Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8 for low light, especially for the price. I picked one up for £35
Love your videos! Seems like most of the TH-camrs are talking about the latest and greatest equipment! I’m keeping my d750 and going to continue to use it! Look forward to your videos!
I bought the d7200 last year because of you and I see myself using it for many years to come. I love it
That’s fantastic, delighted that it’s working for you
Great review Henry.
Great video Henry. I got the D7200 a few months ago, specifically because of your earlier D7200 videos. Its built like a tank. Great work.
That is awesome!
Perfect Timing Henry ...... Father's day ..... wish me luck ..!
Haha best of luck James!!
Finally upgrading from my trusty D90 to a D7200 which will be here on Monday and I can't wait to get my hands on it, I got a great price (sub £400) from WEX and it's only got 11K on the shutter, excited anticipation
Hi am thinking about buying the d7200 how do you like it
I'm also tryna switch D7200 from D90
i just bought a d7200 just like you after the d3100 to get into again the photography
the difference is huge
.. i like it :)
I just bought a D750 but I’m hanging on to my 7200. It’s been my favorite camera so far for many of the reasons you mention.
I did the same and still use my 7200 for many things.
I bought the D750 and sold the D7200, I wish now that I hadn’t. I miss that camera. :-(
Brad Fisher I’m probably using mine 50/50. The thought was to have a wide angle on one and a telephoto on the other when traveling the back roads. I hope to do some occasional Astro with the 750.
Veronika Gundersen Sorry to hear that Veronica. I think I’d miss mine also if it were gone.
Still using my D7100 along side D750, same same but different, both have their advantages. I need them both 😉👍
I have a D7100 which I still use along with a D750. Both fantastic cameras in their own respects.
Definitely both great cameras Ian you're right. Cheers for the comment mate
Totally agree Henry had the D3100 upgraded to the D7200 two years ago love it. Keep up the good work mate
Ah nice one Paul, the same route that I took!! Thanks for the support mate 🙏🏼
One of my favorite things is a long walk through a nice natural area with my D7200 and Tamron 18-400mm lens.
My D7200 surpasses my expectations all of the time. Great camera.
Sure is!
Cheers for the comment Sandra!
I just got a D7500 too and I love it !!!! Fast !!!!!
jus bought D7200 last week and the quality and the tricks are soooo good 😮
I have a D7100 & just upgraded to D500 but still kept D7100 for similar reasons you gave for your D7200. Love using Nikon gear...
Glad you like it Robert, thanks for the comment
Had mine since it was launched, no complaints! Use mine mainly for street stuff and anything in between! ✌️
Great review Henry. Off the back of this I picked up a used one with 2K shutter count for a reasonable amount. delighted !
Nice one!
Got this camera back in 2016, bought it used from a certified reseller for 500 euros back then which was a total steal! Still running great
I'm still rocking a Nikon D300s and I still love it. No reason to upgrade for me either. 😁
Good choice!
Thanx.
Useful and informative video.
But can I find it as brand new?
I’ve been using mine since 2019. I’ve grown my clientele and my photos look fantastic, im being chosen over local photographers who use new sonys and mirror less cams.
I sold my D7000 for mirrorless Sony A6000 a few years ago. Love my Sony but just miss my D7000. As you said it took such lovely images.
I really love the look of Sonys as well...
Would love a follow up video talking about the lens you use with it, in my lens is equally as important as the body, if not slightly more.
Cheers for the suggestion Philip
Glad to see this pop up and it not be from 3 years ago 😂 I bought my first DSLR last year not really knowing what I was doing, and went for the D7500 (which is practically the same) . Keep seeing people going for Sony A7R's and mirrorless, but I'm still chuffed with mine, good to get to grips with photography and also the viewfinder!
Thanks for the comment Ollie!
Hey Ollie. I upgraded from the D7000 to the D7500. Love it.
great review- real world experience from a real humble guy. Thanks
D7200 Great Camera, Just brought a D7500 and I hope it was worth it for the upgrades even though it only has one card slot.
Totally agree with you Henry had mine for a few years now and the reason I found your channel
Ah nice one, a cracking camera 🙏🏼
Love the review mate. Cheers!!
I bought a D7500 2 years ago for wildlife, but now I’m working on developing some landscape skills. What lenses do you suggest? Thanks for your video!
@@gf5950 Really? I've only got as far as using wifi for downloading. I will have to investigate that
i just bought it a week ago because of you
I just recently bought a used D7200 for about $500 USD.
I am using this dalr from last 5years..overall results and experience is fabulous... Really #nikon d7200 best dslr..
Couldn't agree more. Have owned a number of Nikons and the D7200 is indeed the best.
Thanks for the comment Jay
great vid Henry..I still have my D7100 and am totally satisfied with it..I also picked up a Z50 and also love it..nice to hear pros like yourself with so much common sense and not always trying to sell you something..thanks !
Thanks very much Dan
Same here, my D7100 still does what I want. Great camera.
Useful information and advices. Thanks!
Great advice Henry! To look for a camera that fits your needs and spend money on the best glass you can get.
BTW, I follow your advice and got a D7200. LOVE IT!!!!
The Nikon D7200 is epic 💕
It sure is Justin, thanks for watching mate
great and very important point about dual card slots. if you do professional work, it is a must feature!
Wow, so cheap - what a bargain! Thanks for the comment Sam
Great vlog.
Thank you Daniel!!
About weather protection
I was filming a video in a rain and my mic's left channel broke, bad luck I guess.
