Ok so Ben 10 has only been rebooted, it basically got the teen titans go treatment. The other 2 shows are actual continuations of the OG show and actually focuses more on story and characters. They just changed art styles

The Ascalon sword is a sword Azmuth( creator of the Omnitrix) made to take down a crazy alien demon from another universe. The sword can cut through almost anything and even warp reality the fact that he could fit that in so casually was amazing
