@@MegaHowtoMan AMD as a company is CPU-first, GPU-second . Nvidia only makes GPUs (apart from the Grace superchip in enterprise), so it doesn't make sense to compare them in the first place lol

The Zen4 EPYC lineup has so much potential - but not all potential customers will be building huge datacentres, with that in mind I have a question for all involved in the development:
WILL dual-socket boards support mix-and-match of Genoa/Genoa-X/Bergamo/Siena CPUs?
...I can see several use-cases for this hybrid approach... e.g. Bergamo CPU is running server processes for clients while the second Genoa-X CPU runs the dedicated database layer, all on a single dual-socket server unit.

Can anyone judge whether SMCI's technology is better than the competition and if so, what exactly are the differences? (ideally someone who works professionally in the industry)

Windows 3D Audio, DTS & Dolby Atmos should do to at least 32Bit 384Khz 7.1 Channels,
There is absolutely no reason a 64Bit processor cannot do 64Bit audio,
Mind you 32Bit Integer is around 60% of total CPU Support with 64Bit divided by 2,
So 32Bit Audio is 100% speed conformant & there are few reasons to reduce it to 24Bit or 16Bit without processing benefaction; Such as Error management on 24Bit on 32Bit instruction:
