In case you ever wonder whether your lessons have an impact or not let me assure you - they do. This lesson is exactly what I was looking for and at just the right technical level, so thank you.
That's very kind of you to say, La Onza. I make videos which I wish I had had available to me when I started playing and I am delighted to hear that others have benefited from the content. Are there any other videos you'd like to see in the future? In the meantime check out my other videos, there's around 300 of them so hopefully something else useful amongst them for you! Cheers
Hello Nice lesson! However, I find myself a little lost after going through all the video, so many things were mentionned ;) could you visually recap (in description or comment) which SCALE to use on every bar? Example : bar 1-2 = G maj bar 3-6 = F maj, ... after that is where i'm lost (bar 7-8= Eb maj? or Gmin harmonic? if you could continue the recap here that be very helpful! Thanks
I am currently working on a project to collate these ideas into sheets. I'm hoping to have the first one up in the next week or two and will link that below here
Hello Mauricio, thanks so much for your comment. All well at this end, yes. I've just had a lot of life going on recently but I am going to be making content again very soon so keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks! Cheers mate
Thank you for your question! The indicator of the harmonic minor is either a -7b5 chord or a 7b9 chord before the G-7 chord, and in this instance we get both. You could play G harmonic minor on those two chords and play the Aeolian on the G-7 too though, so there are always plenty of options! Hope that helps, Charles
I too have spent my fair share on time and money on tuition and tuition materials with mixed results. Be sure to subscribe as my brother and I will be launching our website by the end of the year at the latest. We have already created our theory you actually need to know course and guitar visualisation course but we have a few more we are aiming to finish by launch. They'll be right up your street from the sounds of it 💪
@@CharlesHarrisonMusicTuition already subscribed and that sounds good man I'll check those out as I could do with a little in depth jazz theory course 🎸
I couldn't agree more, you're absolutely spot on! He's an absolute wind up merchant and a malicious time waster!! As you can see from the other comments, they share your frustration and for that I can only apologise. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, I'll try and clown around less in the future. Charles Harrison Music Tuition I first heard it on the muppet show as a rather fast instrumental. It really worked. If you looked past the puppets, the band were really talented musicians. Ronnie Verrel on drums
@@CharlesHarrisonMusicTuition apologizes but, when I come here, I wait for someone who explain rapidly and show how to play the music ! My comment is just , I think, for to help you ! Thank for your work !!
@@baboxe No trouble at all, I always appreciate the engagement. 'Horses for courses' as we say here in the UK. I don't doubt you'll be able find plenty of teachers skimming over this tune on TH-cam. Why is the first G-7 chord in the B part related to an harmonic minor scale and not simply an eolian scale?
