1st Chapter is free for everyone! The full course will be released one episode at the time for members (3rd tier required to watch the full course) or you can buy it directly at bookinghfs@gmail.com
The most valuable thing in this kind of video, is not the way it's mixed, cause in then end we all would do different, BUT the thoughts and mind process. This is such priceless. This is why it's a Mixing Lesson, not a mixing tutorial. Thank you David for sharing this piece for free.
Thanks for great tutorial. David, quick question. How does Chandler Zener compare to classic 1176 (all buttons in ect) for kick and snare parallel compression? Thanks.
They are nothing alike. Topology is different, action is different. I like the Zener in parallel in THD mode, other than that is really not that versatile and it wouldn't be my first pick for most tasks.
Great video David, as always top notch tutorial on the internet, although I like my 909 crashes at the center and laughed a lot when you explained yourself and panned 😂
Hello David. Check out the Remix of Love Sensation by Freemassions, the greatest piece of dance music production, mix and masterd earcandy I have ever heard. It will definitely be one of your references for the future.
Love your channel David! An absolute wealth of knowledge! I have a question related to the parallel channel, how do you judge how high you bring it into the mix?
Not sure if you're talking about the hardware or C1 but regardless, it doesn't of course. What you hear is simply an extremely simple so sound (kick) which is almost a short sine wave changing tone because of the added harmonics
Man, what a great opportunity to get some insight in your work. Thanks. The Devil seems to be in the Details 🤏. You've passed me important information about movement, depth and transients, I had no idea...Thank U...and I enjoy it so much to see your art craft at work. It's a privilege...

Mixing is not a puzzle, They have to gel. That’s gold right there!
Great! It will be interesting to learn how to improve EDM drums.

I have a question related to the parallel channel, how do you judge how high you bring it into the mix?
I pull the fader down to zero, close my eyes and bring the fader up until it feels good.
@mixbustv ok. Is there anything specific that you listen for that gives the good feeling?
Thanks for releasing this David. You replaced your Waves SSLGChannel with the Softube Console1 on every track. Is this a permanent change?
Has been since I got C1 a few years ago
Gotta download it😊
Hi, I'm a subscribed member of your channel and I can't find the full video in the members section, can you help me. Thank you,
The full course is 7 chapters, released one every 2 weeks
Great did you commence by drum bus before treating elements or is this your natural order?
I usually start with the 5500 and Fatso on the drum bus but I dont turn em on until I'm done with the single parts. 2Bus is usually on tho'
Thank's 💯
I'm popping up everywhere. Another plugin is the new Bx. Clipper review❤❤❤
Question. Why does the kick sound like it switches key or note when you add the ssl stuff to it.
Not sure if you're talking about the hardware or C1 but regardless, it doesn't of course. What you hear is simply an extremely simple so sound (kick) which is almost a short sine wave changing tone because of the added harmonics
Thx really ❤
85 tracks? Good lord😳
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

😎
How to Mix EDM Drums:
1. Get well produced stems
2. Dance (add movement?)
🙄
Thought it was gonna be a remix of Sunny Lax - Emerald for a moment. ☺
