Wilson was S tier his first few years but he’s definitely slowed a bit
He’s more than just slowed, as a Hawks fan I can can tell he’s become worried to run and so he won’t even sprint out at max pace anymore unless the field is WIDE OPEN.

it's just the generation gap, fast runners were always just slotted as WRs or CBs before Vick. bulkier runners like Allen would've been a TE 20 years ago

@@B-Mag Nah Fitzpatrick has ran pretty well for his age recently. He led the Dolphins in rushing yards with 243 yards (and 4 TDs) in 2019 and over the last 3 seasons he has averaged 15.8 YPG, 4.7 Yards per attempt and 0.24 TDs. I think he would be a higher end C tier QB.
You'd never expect that from Daniel Jones especially since he wears loose sleeve pocket passer jerseys in games.
It's very interesting how little correlation there is between 40 time and general running ability. Dak, Darnold, Stafford, Cousins, Goff and Ryan all ran between 4.8s and they're spread over 3 different tiers

If I had to choose, I think I prefer this ranking style over the tier based one, it feels more natural. Tier lists are fun in general though, so I'd be more than glad to see another whatever the format. Love your videos!

I remember watching Daunte Culpepper in my early 20s and being amazed at how such a big dude could move the way he did. Imagine a linebacker or DE that could simultaneously break your ankles AND throw that ball on a rope 40 yards downfield.

I agree. Rodgers is still pretty fast, despite his age. He’s just very judicious on when he uses his speed.

Cam is the best running QB of all time. He had most of the traits that made Vick special, and on top of that, he was built bigger and tougher than most RBs. Its like if Derrick Henry was a passer.
Cam Newton is no Steve Young.
One of those guys could run AND win a superbowl.

Legitimately. Brady is one of the most efficient runners ever. Either gets a first down or a touchdown basically every carry.
I’ll say it once, and I’ll say it 1000 times: Daniel Jones is not the issue in NY. Hell I’d say he’s one of the few bright spots
Everyone was laughing (myself included) when Daniel Jones was picked over Dwayne Haskins in the draft and Giants fans freaked out.
I think Jones has a sort of Jameis Winston type of ceiling: He could go 30 for 30 if he gets better help.

this would be a great series! ranking NFL starters at certain positions based on one attribute alone. something like “ranking every NFL WR based on their after the catch ability”. if your ever running low on video ideas, doing this type of video but with different categories would be awesome

That's not enough to give Ryan a C tho. Yes, he's faster than Brady (which isn't saying much at all), but he doesn't do anything while running to make him a C tier runner. He doesn't have average quickness, top end speed, elusiven etc.
