I own the jeep Rubicon with lift and big tires.i just ordered my zr2 with v6 and lift and 35 tires.when it comes in I going to put more skid plates on and steel drive shaft and wench.
These vids are great in 2024 when shopping for a used CO. The newer ZR2s don't have the fold down rear seats, I believe. That's good for a dog. Watching this when Tropical Storm Debby is flooding out Myrtle Beach.
FourQed Dont do it. I have the 2016 canyon diesel, with the "all terrian" package. It has been in and out of the shop every week or every other since its purchase. The paint on these trucks is it's weakest feature. The very first gravel road (not off road) the paint took significant damge in stone chips to the rear wheel well flares... and not to mention for almost 50 k it doesnt even come with mud flaps, those are 250 bucks extra.
OK, very good in depth review of all the features of the new Colorado ZR2. In fact, too good! What happens to all that electronic stuff - both off road modes and all the convenience things when the warranty runs out? How will it hold up after severe off road use? For a rock crawler I have three choices: (1.) The Colorado ZR2 for $43,000 list with its electronic gizbos and auto trans, (2.) Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock (the $43,000 list with the metal, as opposed to hollow plastic bumpers) and 6 spd. manual, or (3.) search around the used market for a 1995 or so Silverado reg cab with 6 spd manual, for about $5,000 and then spend ????? amount of dollars to build it.
Gene Paull if this is a dedicated rock crawler you should have your eyes on a vehicle with a solid front axle. I also wouldn't suggest buying new since you are most likely going to beat it up
Hey Mike when you get in the GM vehicles & start them hit the button on the rear view with the sitting person to the far left when it starts saying the car is in demonstration mode it'll shut it off quicker so you don't have to listen to the whole message.

I've seen a few decent driving reviews but this was very detailed as far as features. Thanks man. Although I agree with some of the other commenters, the face came thing is a bit odd and did kinda bother me when I was trying to enjoy the view of the rig. But nice video!
Would you happen to know the GM part number for the Rock Sliders on the sides? Can't find in the parts catalog, would make a cool addition to my Z71 if they would fit which I assume they would.
Consider changing the font in your "in video text description". It's hard to read and it moves too fast. Also, the face cam is not something to bring back. Otherwise, good show of the features in the truck.

Awesome video. useful info. great vid quality. neat to see ur face as ur talking but vid size needs to be cropped or just reduced as it impedes the view of main vid from time to time. thanks for sharing great vid review!!
Toyota dealerships stand by their product. I had to pull teeth to get my chevy dealership to fix an issue. When they did it was the equivalent of duct tape. Seriously, it was an adhesive.
