@@amytheprettyweirdfangirl3786 lol yea i get it...when i made the comment i was grouping Galaxy with odyssey..there not much diff , just more vibrant in the 2017 game. im 38..and galaxies 1/2,Odd are the modern wonderful games.
But 1991 forever changed the game world with Super Mario world snes... went from that bit looking plain colors 84-88' games..to a living walk in Colorbook (almost first open world game) popping nostalgic colors...that is the game!!!
I'm 34 so this game isn't nostalgic to me at all. Mario bros 2, Mario bros 3, Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island were nostalgic to me. Mario 64 was the last mario game to feel a little nostalgic to me, but the first mario game was even too old for me to feel nostalgia for.
There will come a time when this game also becomes too old for most players nostalgia as their newest mario will be much later than this.

4 1/2 hours in and having the time of my life. this does a truly excellent job of replicating the experience of watching your older sibling play because she won't let you have a turn and you end up yelling because she's not doing it the way you want to do it

'The prefect run': All your pain from the entire game combined... Completing it took me a long time, but it was worth my time! Amazing game
It also took me around 12 hours to complete the final boss.

I got the game when I was around 8 because my cousins got it for me as a present. THE SECOND I PLAYED IT I AUTOMATICALLY FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. It was the best game ever. I would always get stuck on the world 3 boss for some reason😂. Anyways, it's not my point. I would be able to replay and restart my world so many times, and I NEVER GOT BORED AT ALL. The game play and music were the best things ever. It's super unique, like it's the only game that makes me feel this way. I got Mario 3d world a year ago on the switch and it was good but it wasnt really enjoyable playing it again and I got bored easily of it too, the boss battle were lame to be honest like there is this orange shell guy and at this point why is he even a boss for the final castle because he is so easy to beat if I were him Id give up. MY OPINION DONT HATE PLZ. But anyways, what I mean is that suoer mario galaxy is the BEST mario game, in my opinion. Sadly, since I was young, the disk got really dirty and scratched up. It would say an error occurred. I never was never able to play it since and my wii actually just broke because of how old it is idk, it's just super nostalgic watching this video, that's why I hope it comes to switch with a mario Galaxy 3. I would cry and go crazy if this happens. Plz nintendo..

god so many of the tracks in this game are SO insanely good. smg1 has plenty of classics, but there are so many powerful arranges here. i really hope this game is added to the switch one day, even though its highly unlikely :(((

Everything about super mario galaxy 1&2 are absolute masterpieces and i loved every second of playing them, even when i was getting frustrated on the more difficult levels.

I got this game in 2018 (age 6) and instantly fell in love with it. Now i'm here in 2024 just now managing to beat the perfect run. My opinion on this game still stands. I'm super close to finally playing galaxy 1 for the first time, and no one else of my generation (gen alpha) knows just how fun this game is and will always be.
I remember playing this with a friend and sometimes we would fight about who could be Mario and who had to be the co-star Luma, but we always worked it out

I liked the first SMG over this, but I forgot how heart-pumping the soundtrack was and how much more character was put in the Luma crew. Both games are the best in their own rights.

Galaxy 2 essentially is just more Galaxy 1! Which is great because it still manages to introduce new ideas like the cloud flower etc, while still keeping the Galaxy vibe going. My only complaint is that there’s no observatory hub, or at least something like it. ALSO I AM PRAYING AND HOPING THIS COMES TO SWITCH! MAY EVEN BE BETTER THAN GALAXY 1! If you play on emulator, and slap HD resolution textures, it doesn't even look as very old game anymore. Gameplay is real addictive.
Ah the two best super mario games galaxy 1 and 2 I played both on the WII when I was in 4th grade man times were good back then. I might order a WII and both games when I get my check

And buy a component cable. The original wii cable looks bad on new tvs. I bought mine on amazon for 10€ and on my TV it looks really good.
