I love these kind of bass and drums "freak-outs" at the ends of songs like in "My Wave" and this. One of the reasons Superunknown is their best album is all the chromaticism and free spirit of it all. I wish they leaned more into this chromatic, (jazzy?), psychedelic sound in their other albums.
Holy shit. I never thought I would hear the isolated bass for this song in my life. Always love this song and struggle to hear exactly what Ben Shepherd played though there was clearly magic in the bass all along. Thank you. Such a thick, dirty sound and innovative bass playing. It works so well for this song. There's probably a sub-octave effect going on there, which is interesting. My favorite parts: 3:02. And 4:50 to the end. Two basses there?

same here, it's also a major group effort which i think was lacking on down on the upside. nothing can really match superunknown
