where do you get isolated tracks like this one? you mentioned multi tracks in another comment, is that a file with the original recording in separate tracks, or is it recorded by somebody else as a "cover"? thank you for the song though

Brendan Obrien is a genius! The sound design behind each guitar track and the mix is perfect.

A real guitar amp through a real mic preamp through a real hardware EQ and compressor = it sounds natural and real, dirty and saturated. Today everything sounds "perfect". That is one of the biggest missing parts on today's music.

Always love this song and struggle to hear exactly what Ben Shepherd played though there was clearly magic in the bass all along. Thank you. Such a thick, dirty sound and innovative bass playing. It works so well for this song. There's probably a sub-octave effect going on there, which is interesting. My favorite parts: 3:02. And 4:50 to the end. Two basses there?

What type of tuning do you use in the studio song, how many Hz is the guitar at? Sorry for the stupid question, but I saw in several forums that the tuning is a drop D but sharpened a little and another says that it is an Eb tuning, and I can't quite agree in my head. It is simply incredible how the guitar sounds, it is something that I have never heard similar to, it is something that in my head I wanted to hear before and this song made my dream come true hahaha. But now my goal is to try to play it with the peculiar melody that completely blew my mind.
