    This guy is the strongest influence for my drumming. There is nothing he can't handle, a true musician with depth and creativity. And he drives a HSV, haha. Double sick \m/

      sorry if this is a "tad" bit late but dan doesnt use sheet music since his kit is probably too big to read the notes easily unless the sheets are massive

    Portal of I had the best drum work on any metal album I've ahead. It was miles ahead of the big names like Gene Hoglan, Dave Lombardo and George Kollias.

    If you're one that's wondering how he doubles like that, it's called finding your niche. Many different ways to achieve said sound. But, his trick is light springs, and utilizing the bounce from the drum head for reflex. Hence why you see his feet doing what they're doing. And way down the pedal. I could be wrong. Same way the stick pops back off of a tom.
