That really surprised me. I would have guessed the one with the lowest fundamental note would have been the medium thin low but it was actually the medium. Excellent comparison, great job.

Extremely helpful, I was on the edge between the Med and Med Thin low, because the med was a good $100 cheaper. I definitely like the darker, more lush sound that the med offers.

Your demos sound very realistic and not colored. Only thing I might suggest is letting us know what stick you are using and what the actual weights of the cymbals are. Thanks, I buy cymbals when the demos are good. Nice job!

Hi, thanks for the comment! We try to be true to the source ;) We used Zildjian regular 5B sticks. Unfortunately we might have lost track of the weight of these exact items used in the video but we make these for general comparison purposes, we think it still gives the audience a good clue of how these models sounds compared with each other!

Agreed with original comment; maybe a few different stick tip shapes? 5A, 7A, acorn / ball tip? That’s super nitpicky I know. Otherwise, excellent and transparent demo!

What's heads r u using on bass drum and how u tune to sound like that?

Hi ColRizz99, we used the stock head provided with this kit which is a clear Remo Powerstroke 3. We usually tune the reso head lower then the batter head (on which we apply approx. 1-1/4 turn on each lug). The rest is fine tuning with your ears ;)

Hi Brent! We are using Zildjian's 5B Maple Dip (in green) with wood tips. We do know it looks unusual haha!
