my favorite interpretation of a blood player is in the fanventure "karkat goes to a convention". if you've read it, you know what i'm talking about.
@@niftymoth723 My best guess is that its a joke on the idea of bonds. Page is a passive application class and can utilize their aspect in ways to support their party by maintaining or maintaining with their aspect.
Since Blood reperesents the ideas of Bonds, relationships, connections, and things that link people together, it stands to reason that, through an abstract lens of application, A Page of Blood (Or Prince of Blood for that matter), could cause Nuclear Fission (Or Fusion) by manipulating the "bonds" between atoms themselves, separating or forging new "Links" between them to harness their energy as they wish.
In a Layman's terms, they basically have the power to screw with atoms because it's covered by their aspect in a niche, roundabout way.

@@themageofspace5516 thats only if blood players are magical. Karkat was knight of blood, and even though he never reached godteir, his thing was more rallying people to fight with him, so it would really suck if sylph of blood just meant you are good at making people feel nice.

My favorite disaster classpect is Bard of time. Mf just chills out and lets things get destroyed by time. Literally a player that does fuckall and just watches sburb/sgrub wreck shit as time goes on XD

i still think a knight of hope would theoretically be a game breaking classpect due to being interpretable as "serves/protects hope/through hope" and thus very possibly would be unkillable if they didnt give up
I imagine there's a huge emphasis on "if" in this case.

Healing through loyalty

guy who runs a classpect blog here! to further on how unbelievably screwed up the sylph of blood is, if they choose to, they can heal with blood by literally using someone's blood to fix their injury! freaky :). metaphorically, they can heal with blood through bonds, which means that they could theoretically pull strings to get the best healer on hand. it's pretty cool!
That first example is literally just accelerated normal healing, since normal wounds clot with blood. This is just doing that better

Yeah, in line with all the comments here, it eventually becomes more on how the person sees or connects with their classpect well XD. Because of how Homestuck showed what the Hope players can do despite just shooting literal beams of white light and hope, its power ends up looking like the same thing that comes out of quasars and neutron stars. And here I am, an Heir of Hope XD. Also, the thing about Hope ghosts... I have OCs so... And if you believe in them hard enough... The ghosts become real...

It’s not to classpect in question that’s messed up, it’s the person and how they perceive it :^) you could also just use blood related magic to heal the damage delt to structures created with blood such as skin and muscles
Enhance circulation and overall battle praformance, and so on
Odds are that if you refined that skill you could also do some bloodbending shit like that one episode of Wvatar
also using the more meta parts of the blood aspect, the blood aspect represents relationships with other people - so maybe a sylph of blood would “heal” with kindness and friendship and compassion, maybe even healing emotional wounds rather than physical ones

Creating bonds with others could allow for a gateway, or network of sorts that could tether each team mate to eachother
Forging unbrakable bonds that have a sort of “moral boost” effect that stimulates healing effects among the team
Aided by a heart player and this skill might be able to forge more personal bonds that link people emotionaly as well
Not that I doubt a sylph couldn’t do this on there own, I just imagine it’d take less time and be a lot more direct if they being aided
Karkat dident have the best relationship with every troll, but what mattered was that he had solid bonds with each of them
They all couldn’t stand him so much that they just did what he said to make him stop shouting so much
A sylph (like aranea) wouldn’t fair too differently ether as people still found her annoying, even though she literaly helped them all through most there traumas and issues, and on likly many occasions, literally healed them
If aranea got really serious she likly could have brought them all to some kind of enlightenment, but ironicly she dident have the same balls that vriska hade (which may be a few too manny balls anyways,)
A sylph of blood might not as well liked in there team, but what matters is the kinds of connections they forge and how they manage them
And how healing can be achived through each bond
If it’s not the player in question who can assist or heal an indevidual, they might know somone else that can, and likly through the bond they share, those healing capabilities could flow through theses other indeviduals
fun fact, aspects work in literally every and any way possible and the class is moreso a label based on your personality and how you would use your powers rather than what powers you actually *get*. a seer of time terezi or seer of light terezi has the exact same powers as a seer of mind terezi just with a different aesthetic, but not the same powers as a different seer of the same aspects
this means that yes as one person commented a page of blood could theoretically manipulate bonds between atoms. they could also just make a massive pink sparkly friendship fart pixie dust explosion that makes everyone within it friendly. there are zero real rules as long as it fits the personality of the character themselves

As a Knight of (Jesus fuck I don’t know my aspect, is it Life, Space, Mind, or Hope???) let’s just say by my recent experiences, Hope, I intend to serve my hope and serve through my hope very well, in fact I wil- oh yeah, nobody knows how a knight of hope would work.
Uhh, faith and devotion in things allows me to serve people and serve my aspect (like a dish) with all of its blinding white magic-ki stuff

A lot of people have been commenting on this video talking about classpects, so I'll bite and chime in.
In canon Homestuck, we've seen Jade, the Witch of Space, gain the power to grow and shrink entire planets, as well as teleport anywhere at will (Though it's up to debate if those are her natural powers, or if they were a result of her unique circumstances). We do see one other full-fledged Space player towards the end of the story, but compared to other characters, her role is much more passive, and her exact powers are questionable.
Part of how you're able to use your space powers will depend on what class you are. A Sylph could repair broken bones, a Bard could disable gravity, a Prince could tear a hole through whatever stands in their way... Though if you want more general abilities, I think it's safe to say that most Space players can Force grab/manipulate objects, and weaponize them if need be. Mind you, these are just ideas I came up with on the spot.
At the end of the day, I believe it's really all up to how you interpret your class and aspect. Similar to how Rose equates the aspect of Light to knowledge, while Vriska interprets the same aspect as Luck - Both interpretations are fundamentally different, but they seem to work for them.

What is unique about a page is you start off with a deficient in your aspect but end up gaining more and more of it to become the strongest, often pretending to have a lot more of the aspect than they actually do. Jake pretending to be some big hero while being far too gullible, Tavros talking about his confidence while being easy to exploit and manipulate. You on the other hand would start out as someone who thinks they are a lot smarter than they actually are but, in the future, could likely end up pulling some detective show “completely understands what is going on from little evidence” type bullshit

@@beywheelzhater8930 I really don't think that would make sense for Sheldon. As Kuro Sys mentioned Princes present as the inverse of their aspect. Dirk always presented very stoic and selfless, helping the party along with the ultimate self-sacrifice multiple times. Eridan as well succumbed to hopelessness, and Kurloz spoke no evil.
@@Ang3lUki Mind a bit, Dirk isn't selfless. He just gets the job done. Remember Game Over? He went into the glitches. Roxy was the selfless one in that party. And Jane/Jake are both selfish as fuck.
Dirk is just too self conceited to be called selfless. Maybe the only splinter that is selfless is Brain Ghost Dirk
@@KuroSys Again, we see a lot of that internal conceitedness, but to his friends he killed himself multiple times to help them. That's the paradox of the Prince. They do things paradoxical to their aspect, but with ends, and motives that are true to aspect.

This is why I dislike my Time aspect. It's pretty lame compared to most other aspects
well it’s essential to a Sburb session so you’re useful in that regard. plus you can time travel

Prince of Time is pretty cool, you destroy time (how you interpret the method in which this works, be it King Crimson-esque or something else, is up to you) or destroy with time (Probably aging or regressing to before the target's existence.)

@@S.a.m_S.a.m time and space are the most literal they're just manipulating the game and less about defining the character while aspects like heart rage hope breath and blood really define how a character will act like looking at John and tavros you can see what about them comes from breathe while Dave and aradia or aradia and caliborn don't really have all that much in common and yes the thief of light does steal luck and doesn't literally steal light thanks

Eridan - Prince of hope (not godtier): litterally destroyed hope and was hopeless
John - Heir of breath: litterally turned into wind
Sollux - Mage of doom (not godtier): was capable of navigating/staying alive even in doom
Gamzee - Bard of rage (not godtier): was capable of passively destroying people's rage
Karkat - Knight of blood (not godtier): had strong link with his literal blood and defended it (even though he used to be ashamed of it)
Roxy - rogue of void: was literally capable of stealing through/from the void
dirk - prince of heart: breaking people's heart was literally part of his character development
Every classpects can be taken with their first AND second meaning, and it has been shown many times in the serie, so there's no reason a sylph of blood wouldn't be able to heal through/with literal blood.
Not going to lie, that's a pretty stiffling limitation on a power system like the classpects, personally i'd feel pretty damn disheartened if all i got from being a god tier blood player is increased charisma and the ppwer of friendship.
@@zakkomclasspects dont define a character at all. it's the character who defines their classpect. so, since you see it as less literal, your powers would be solely focused on the bonds and friendship stuff. but someone else with the same classpect might see it as literal, and so theyd get what they expect; powers using actual blood.
