Surprised that's the first someone noticed. With yesman it would always be a green check mark. What's going on here is that I do not close peace deal window, and just look at the acceptance number. The red cross does not change into check mark without reopening the window, even if the nation agrees.
That's where the idea came from. Unfortunately, I think they rolled the change back, I couldn't make it work. The decision to reform Byzantium didn't pop-up until I culture shifted to Greek
Yeah, I even checked the decision code, and for it to even show you need to be: A. In byzantine group B. montferrat. I guess it was a bug, which they fixed in the new patch
Me must ensure the safety of our Venetian children.
Billions must Venetianize.
constantinopoli has fallen, billions must commercialize
A funny achievement for this could reference the Roman Republic, since Venice is a Republic forming Byzantium.
"And for my next trick, I'll make cursed Byzantium!"
Wait, that's illegal
Illegal and cursed
@@Rigel_MRP can't agree more
So Roman went from Latin to Greek to Latin again? :v
I used to do this all the time. I’d name my save files “Venetian Byzness.”
Ba dum tsss
Very nice and easy way to form Byzantium, but also very cursed 😂.
If you hade the aristocrats in power you can spend some crown land to get claims on all neighbouring provinces

How do you force a peace deal when they won't accept? Are you cheating?

@@CoolBonobo interesting, did not know
you dont need to convert to greek anymore you just need to be orthodox to form Byzantium
I thought so, maybe he doesn't know or they changed it again for Wind of Changes

@@CoolBonobo Apparently they changec it back cause if i play on the 1.36.2 patch any orthodx nation can form Byzantium but not on this patch.
and i cant find any mention of this in the patch notes that they changed it back to be greek as a requirement to refrom.
