I have a query. Before dropping in the rice, did u cook the meat? Or is the Meat getting cooked after dropping the rice? Is that sufficient time for beef to cook?
No she didn't cooked the meat before that is why this Biryani is called Kacche gosh ki Dum Biryani. Procedure is like the meat along with all other ingredients she mentioned is marinated for at least 2 hours. Point to note here is that you should add 1 tablespoon full of raw papaya paste if the meat is hard to tenderize the meat, if the meat is tender or of a small animal then there is no need to add papaya paste. Soak basmati rice in water for at least one hour then half cook it and add the rice to the marinated meat and cook it for around 8 minutes on high flame and then place a flat iron tava on the stove preheat on high flame for 2 minutes then lover the flame. Place the Biryani caldron on that tava and cook it on slow flame for 20 to 25 minutes and then switch off the stove. Even after switching off the flame do not open the lid of the caldron for another 15 minutes. This is the procedure to cook Hyderabad Dum Biryani. After 15 minutes you can open the lid and enjoy mouthwatering Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. I hope my explanation will help you.
