- ›› Last weekend I went cross-country schooling with Diva! Had a lot of fun even though she got VERY excited haha This is my first time going cross-country in years, and I had a ball. Could I be converting to eventing? ;)

I love seeing your progress with Diva, she looks so much more balanced in canter already! She definitely loves XC too 🤣
I’m sure Diva will settle down in her approach to the cross-country jumps when she gets some more basic gymnastic work. You were really good with her. And she goes right to the jumps, which is always good when riding cross country. She’s not backed off by the jumps. I really loved the jumping to water. That’s usually a sticking point if there’s going to be any kind of problem, and she was like, nope, let me do it.
I loved Jenna‘s horse. He is a hunk! What a jump on him! Do you know what breed he is?

O Holly after a really rubbish week here for me this video was just what I needed. Watching you so excited at the beginning and then watching you ride was fab. I love seeing u so happy too is lovely and I'm so happy for you. I'm sure Yr mum and dad miss u and u them but know how well u r doing must make them so proud. Take care of u and keep safe and give the beautiful red head Diva an extra carrot from me lol xx
You could really see how much power Diva had when she flew over some of the bulky fences from a trot! Great job to the both of you!!

Congratulations, Holly! You certainly are not only an excellent show jumper but also a fascinating bush girl. Diva got VERY excited? So what? You handled her very effectively. Wow!
How you made her go for the water - that was perfect!. As was the up jump. And Diva seemed to love it, was so happy that you took her cross country. And she loved the way how you rode her. You should take her more often xc.
And I would like to see more of it.

Diva is a SPICY lady! Haha she looks great! Looked more like Welbeck now that she is gaining muscle and balance! Choco reminded me of Khal a bit, but it could just be that he's big and bay with a white stripe! :)

Holly Lenahan thanks sooooooooo much!Also I’m jealous of you in Australia over in England it’s FREEZING.And I’m on the South East not even in the North of England! The “hottest” (I’ve got it in bunny ears because it’s not hot at all) is 9 degrees!

omg that was so cool. maybe you should try when you o back cantering up to the fence and bring her back to trot on the smaller ones. i am no expert but that is wha i have been taught. xxxxx

How tall is Diva, on the flat here you look big on her but i've seen other videos where you look regular. You've got her flat dialed in perfectly Holly. This complex is so cool. Handling the water like a champ!
Holly, she seems fine in the trot. Has there been an old injury to one of her hind legs? She seems a bit stiff there in the canter. She's a bit choppy on the hind legs in the canter, but moves both legs well in the trot.

I am literally petrified of Australia. When you were loping around through the cross-country course, I had VISIONS of some friggin Goliath or Bird Eating Spider falling out of a tree and on top of you. Not sure how you brush off those fears, but kudos! I don't think I could ever set foot in a country where everything wants to eat you LOL....I know, I know...I'm a little extreme haha.

Hi! I really enjoy watching you ride, this sesion was amazing but please wear your safety vest every time you do cross country! I as a eventing rider had a hard time watching you jump without it. Good luck in your next eventing adventures :)

Hey I just want to ask something keep in mind I am don't know as much ad most of you do. Do are your stirrups ment to be that short cause you also rise alot with your Rising trot?
You shorten your stirrups for cross country 😁 also I think there the right length
I know you're an experienced rider but even professionals wear a NON PEAK hat and BODY PROTECTOR... you seriously should... anything could happen with undulating ground, even if the fence is tiny
There aren’t any rules about helmets in Australia nor are there rules about body protectors when XC schooling. if you read other comments holly has said that she will get a body protector if she starts doing cross country more often
