Here are my 2022 college decision reactions as an international student. I've binged so many of these videos, and I'm excited to finally post mine. I applied to 12 universities in the US and Canada including schools like Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and the University of Toronto.

Hi Roesiri! Congratulations on your accomplishments! Please know that you can be successful at any college you go to!!!! I didn't get into a single college I applied for (2.6 GPA). I went to community college and then ended up at a low-tier school! I graduated in 2016 and made the effort to better myself and network myself and now I am making very good money loving what I do and going back for my MBA at a top-tier school! You are starting off far ahead of where I was and you should be extremely proud of yourself. Keep working hard and enjoy those 4 years! Make friends, make memories, do good!

Hi! I’m Nigerian as well, but I live in the US. This process was extremely brutal. Congrats on all of your acceptances btw! I was also waitlisted by several schools I would’ve loved to attend , but we will see if I get to closer to summer.

Girl you are very brave and I am glad I stumbled across your video today of all days. I love what you said that you would go where God wanted you to go. That has been my mantra for a while however I forgot that today when I got a no on my PhD application. I really needed to watch this, thank you.
LeUofT is like 16th in the world for colleges. Its also top 10-5 in most pre-med programs if you’re doing that. Waterloo is also amazing. applying as an international student is so difficult. Congrats! (and from a canadian, which is obviously very unbiased, Canada is some much better than the US)

If you’re from Cameroon, it’s not impossible, I have simblings who got accepted to top tier colleges (Williams, Swarthmore etc…).
@@meetjesse8380 oh good luck then i wish you all the best, but i wanna ask about your siblings that got accepted did they have both sat and act test? I'm not from Cameron but in my country we don't have act test center so I'm stressed that it's important in applying to us universities
@@FrankFolupa Sorry for not responding earlier, what country is that ?
And I did some digging and it is finally possible to take the SAT online, you’ll just have to download some software and you can write from your computer. I didn’t get SAT scores because my center mixed up the dates, so no need for them now !
@@FrankFolupa M’y siblings did write the SAT, it was compulsory by then, it just recently got optional due to Covid-19
you should totally do vlogs and stuff ab your studies etc if you ever have time late but also congrats
Congratulations! If you decide to attend UofT for your undergraduate studies, it is a very difficult school but with enough hard work and time management skills you'll be okay :) (I am a current UofT undegrad)

Awwwww how cute! Its okay dear. I dont know much about canada but I graduated from USC. I want to say go to USC but if you can get into Cornell, definitely pick Cornell. Send a mail to Cornel thanking them for waitlisting you and tell them how you want to go there and that they are your number one choice..if you can get off the waitlist, go to COrnel....Either way, you will do amazing in any school you decide to go to. but I think AMerica is BETTER than Canada in a lot of ways...Take care dear and God bless you!

Generally, US universities are better funded. They have better amenities, facilities, and lab equipment. The problem with US universities is that they are very expensive. In-state undergraduate tuition (including room & board) can cost over $30,000 USD per year. Some private schools can cost over $60,000 USD per year easily. Foreign student tuition is higher.
