Mere Jazbaat Episode 34~Prof Harpal Singh Pannu~British Rule in India ~Interesting Facts~Mintu Brar

This is season 4 of Mere Jazbaat. In this episode, Pendu Australia team visited Bathinda where we got a chance to talk to Prof Harpal Singh Pannu. We asked him to start this season from his new book "Chahnama" which is punjabi translation of famous book "The Book Of Tea". He shared so many memories realted to Prof. Pooran Singh and japniese writer Kakuzo Okakura. Tea is an important part of Japanese life. He also shared so many other cultural aspects of Japanese life. After that we talked about Bhai Ram Singh who was World's one of best architect who build queen Victoria's palace as well as so many other buildings i India as well. We also asked Prof. Harpal Singh Pannu that how was their childhood. He shared so many incidents from their childhood. Some were very funny and some were very emotional. Prof Harpal Singh Pannu also discussed about the life story of Mansoor. Mansoor was a sufi fakeer of Baghdaad and he is very famous in Sufism. Prof Harpal Singh Pannu also wrote an article about Kalidas's Megdoot Shakunta. He shared some beautiful quotes in Punjabi from Megdoot Shakuntla. Also Prof.Harpal Singh Pannu discusse about the book he translated in Punjabi written by Rajmohan Gandhi "History of Punjab". Also Prof. Harpal singh Pannu shared his memories with Sirdar Kapur Singh ICS who wrote book Saachi Saakhi. Prof. Harpal Singh pannu recently translated his book Prashar Prashan in Punjabi. In the End Prof. Harpal Singh Pannu shared some interesting facts about the British rule in India. How was King of Patiala. How the made road in his village and so many other interesting facts. The interview got me nostalgic. I learnt a lot about the British Raj from my grandparents born in the 1900 decade. From my parents born in the 1930 decade. And witnessed many things & events being born in the 1960 decade.
So much is true as said in the above interview.
How ever the British Raj also gave us "Sharab da Theka" and thousands of them.
