I’ve hit a 2 12 team and 11/12 on a progressive and a 9 team the last 3 months. I only bet 3-4 times a week. $5 a parlay. In reality if you hit one parlay for $2000 and are only bet $200-300 a month you’ll be fine. Continue betting straights as well. Don’t rely on parlays is the mentality, if you’re a casual better, not a career player.
When I do parlays I run through the lines and pick the numbers I like. Then I run the picks over and over looking for reasons why I do or don't like them. If theres picks I really love than I look for reasons not like it because there usually the ones that looked really sweet first run through. Theres a reason for that I believe, its eye candy, baited hook by the oddsmaker. I never parlay together all my side and totals wagers for a day because how often do you have a day without a loss, thats what teasers are for to me. I usually end up with half or less of my oringal picks and its successful. Mixing multiple sports and playing open parlays waiting on solid pick is another way to increase your odds. Great points... Just just the other day I was at game 3 of Red Sox I wasn't feeling them for what I had to pay and I didn't want to put 1600 bucks up in order to get 450 so instead I spent a few hundred on parlays and that's how I came up so thank you Red Sox
I currently work at a sports book in vegas. the end of the video where it is recommended to get multiple future tickets for "the boys back in philly..." don't do that.. don't tell a writer or book you are betting for other people, that's illegal. all bets and cash outs are for you!

I bet a parlay last week in NFL> I could not find much teaser value and decided to parlay ML dogs of the teams I thought would win and I chickened out of a 4 team. I played Minnesota, Denver and Washington but chickened out not having Buffalo in there but won +2300 range and not over seventy to one.
Yes parlays are great bets exponentially if you play prices that are in value with low wagers.
Every week in NFL I play a SU pool where the winner(s) who pick the most games (all games almost every week) split the prize pool with a hefty rake. However the public plays hefty favorites and if you pick enough dogs you can often times get parlay payouts that exceed vegas ones up to six to eight times greater and more often times 1.5-3x greater if you fade the right team(s). To hedge my bet I always parlay with a sportsbook ten games that are included on my bet and if I am live as you have to get every game right to win this bet I will bet what I won on the parlay on the other team which would be around 2K. Therefore I always take the favorite on my SU pool bet so that if I am set on Monday I can take +odds. If I happen to like the dog on Monday than I will box (double my bet) that game and play both sides and then hedge on Sunday night instead. Last two weeks I got one wrong on the early games and three wrong total. With six figure payouts on a $5 bet, I find the value there longterm.

Try to pick staggered schedule games, also try to pick at least one underdog money line & don't be afraid to hedge, say you have a $100 4 pick that's paying $1200 & you have a staggered schedule parlay, well certainly hedge the final game if you believe in taken money either way!!

I'd argue parlay works better with individual sports, I've won 14 out 16 in parlays when it comes to individual spreads such as singles Tennis matchups or UFC matchups.

The best way to play parlays is not to play them. Maybe 0.1 of a unit once per football week.

MAC MasiUPT bet 10 teams straight on the money line like straight bets, then you're paid on a win/ lose basis. You only worry about the spread if you're betting the spread. Any draws are a push and are not valid so if you have a 10 team parlay and one team ties, you don't lose. It's like you never put them on your ticket and your ticket is worth less in value.

If you have 10 teams in a parlay every team has to either win or push.. if just one team happens to lose you will lose your entire parlay.. in my experience the smaller the parlay the better . The more teams the higher your risk of if not hitting.

Totally dis-agree with this experts opinion on parlay. You must know what you’re doing plus a little luck. In week 13 of NFL ‘86, I hit 7 team parlay, 8 team parlay, 9 team parlay, 10 team parlay and 11 team parlay all in one week end. The following week I hit another 8 and 9 teams parlay. I believe I was responsible for Harrahs Reno changing their pay off odds.

That's bullcrap, because on 09-07-09 (sat.) I won 13 out of 15 MLB (baseball) games using my secret The Winning Method System (T.W.M.S)! And on the next day (sun.) if would've picked the very same teams as I did on Saturday then I would've won 13 out of 15 games again, even if I did not researched any MLB games! I have been betting parlays for about 6 months now and I’ve noticed odd stuff happening when I’m trying to place bets and it goes blank like it knw what I’m doing and just doesn’t let me . Also when I seen my teams were losing and I could still cash out it wouldn’t let me a couple times so yes I think something is fishy with the DraftKings .
