      He just had the worst season ever, mentally got much worse than in past few years, he (and his team, these MANY psychologists he used to work with) destroyed him totally. Check Dubai, RG, Wimbledon performances, check how many early exists he had, check his Nitto performances against sick Alcaraz and weak Ruud. What a b**s*** you talk.

    Andrey seems a lot more positive heading into 2025. He's a great player and I'd love to see him win some grand slams next year ❤

      @@gallusanonimus9357 I didn't say "definitely", I said "I'd love to see" - not the same thing. I'm a fan of Andrey and I don't apologise for it

    He should consider taking a proper vacation. Switching off for 3 full days even can do amazing things for your well being for a full year. He seems to not do that and go from one tournament to next all year round. Must be tiring.

      He did have a week off after atp finals where he went to Moscow to see his family, but I agree he doesn’t like going on holidays

    • @tennisweeklypodcast

      For sure. There is no off season for Andrey 😔

    • @sodalimesalt
      @sodalimesalt 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @yasdrums For a deeply empathetic person, which he seems like, family time might end up being emotional labour instead of holiday, I feel. Upto him though. Might help to go have few days switched off from everything with other ppl taking care of everything for you, like Kasatkina did.

      @@tennisweeklypodcastYeah. Unless there is financial constraints, not sure why not take care of self, do 1 less exho and go on shut off holiday for few days. Deeply beneficial for your well being. But yeah, his life, his preferences. Not internet strangers’ place to talk. Wishing a good 2025 to him, and yourself too.

    I really want him to be healthier in 2025. However if he’s getting pissed at UTS, I don’t think he’s going to handle the AO very well. I wish he would take a longer vacation.

    we hear the same bs every year. we heard the same thing last year when he finished #5, we heard it 2 years ago, 3 years ago... we hear it after every grand slam loss, we hear it couple of times during the season. we have heard it like 30 times already. and his mentality is getting only WORSE. his team is awful, his psychologists are really awful, made him get worse. i am not rooting for him anymore. why would i root for a endless loser who is the worst example for kids? swears, lies, cheats, screams, destroys things, hits himself, bleeds... and he DOESNT want to change, he didnt mature, he didnt learn anything - we heard this bs so many times... and then he showed us what the reality is.

      So much hatred for a player who's very open about struggling with depression and anxiety, who regularly donates money to help children in need, who is more often than not named the kindest player on tour by other players, journalists and staff alike. You don't have to root for him but you really don't have to be so rude to someone you don't even know and who owes you nothing.

    He just had the worst season ever, mentally got much worse than in past few years, he (and his team, these MANY psychologists he used to work with) destroyed him totally and he is happy, LOL. He will never learn. And we all seen his UTS results and his behaviour - guess these new "learnings" didn't really help. Tennis-wise awful, mental-wise awful, physically and tactically awful as well...

    • @lisasu7094
      @lisasu7094 23 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      His tennis was not awful this season. It wasn't as good as other seasons, but he did win a few nice trophies, including a masters in Madrid. You guys are so quick to judge -- he's human.
