Could you imagine if One day a game developer made the PTR quests short and easy then on release changd them completely just to mess with people who make guides before the release?
Thank you sir, i have watched 11 video's and 6 reddit posts about how to get the mount, and the only thing i wanted to know is WHEN can i do the quest, and within 30sec of this video i got my answer, so thank you.
They said in one of the update videos that folks without the expansion would still have access to mounts and flail. Have not seen them say anything to the contrary. Might want to go revisit that info

@@karmalulw8869 sarcasm or not, they did this in a much cheaper way than subscription based games, 100$ for however long till next dlc, or 20$ a month and whenever they feel like releasing content.
i left this game back in the very first season it got boring hunting nightmarish stuff over and over that was before season one ended we were there in beta and the one thing stupid players kept saying was mounts would ruin the game that it wasn't wow i remember that word for word .but i didn't like walking across the map from the start.but to get them is a list of shit you have to do instead of just giving them to us.
Whats so terrible about the mounts? Getting to lvl 25 and doing that braindead quest is as simple as it gets. And mounts don't break the game, since the riding speed is reduced dramatically if not riding on paths.
Mount quest is going to suck. I couldn’t even get one on ptr thanks to the invisible wall. Should be fun when it drops 😅 Not a fan of the food for xp idea either but everything else looks solid.
So if you returning player and won't buy the expansion there is no point to return so to say. you never get a mount without it and you always slack behind other ppl.

Do you need the expansion to use mounts? Just bought the base game and wanna get to 60 first before I buy the expansion but a mount would be awesome.
Yeah they have said the expansion is required to get the quest for mounts. Maybe they’ll decide to change it 🤞

wonder if you get encumbered if you can summon your mount and ride away( with more capacity perhap that buff you mentioned)
Great question! I didn’t test that on the PTR. Will have to try that on live and see how it goes
there are addon's for the mount for 10 and 20% - get them in the later tours.

No. They have said there will not be. I would imagine we’ll get additional servers but they won’t be fresh start servers

Mounts should be allowed in combat to some degree, imagine archery on horseback, and beyond 🥺
