I joined a lobby with a random who had been waiting for several minutes. We waited about 10 minutes before we had 2 other people with mics who didn’t leave right away. We loaded into the high school and immediately the two other people left. The host guy sighed in frustration and asked if I wanted to leave too, but I said we should go along for the ride. So we set up our gear, identified the ghost, and are now on our last objective... We need a picture of the oni, but the ghost only responded to people alone. My new friend picked up the only photo camera we had and told me to “wait here and watch the journal.” He walked back into the school alone as I monitored the cams. And right after I saw his body collapse on the camera, I checked the journal and saw a photo of the Oni who took my friend. With his dying breath he called the ghost a motherf*cker and completed our mission. I made like $150.
I remember the first time I played professional difficulty. I was level 1, and it was my 2nd or 3rd ghost hunt. The group I was with was really nice, and we went into the hunting lodge. They showed me the ropes, and told me some key things to remember. Specifically not calling the ghost by it's name, unless we're ready. It was extremely tense, and we kept on encountering a pissed off spirit that liked to roam. By the end of it, we got out with two people left, and it was all around a pretty fun, and exciting ghost hunt. The second time I played in professional, my team ran in and immediately began calling the ghost a cunt. 10/10 would ghost hunt with rando's again.
God, last game I played I said well into the game “bet you got a loose cunt, Bethany”. Hunting phase immediately and I was killed by a child ghost. I was disappointed I died and disgusted that I told a child she had a loose cunt.
People will look at this and say "why are they taking a game so seriously?" Well, as someone who plays professional hunts with a dedicated team, I can say this is average gameplay for a violent ghost. We have seen ghosts kill someone within 3 minutes before, and I dont want to lose ~500 bucks of equipment.
Tip for both old and new players. The 5 min timer does not actually start until you unlock and open the front door of the house. Meaning you can take all the time you want to set up the equipment at the front door first before entering. This can drastically reduce waste time of going back to the truck to get more stuff. Instead the only reasons to go back to the truck is to look through the sensors and the cameras.
@@jakesundry4046 the only way to LOSE your items is dying. If you leave the mission before or after finding out what type of ghost it was and before dying, doesn't matter where your items were, they will be returned to you
I played yesterday and there was this one guy that spent over 500 dollars buying everything for us to test out and waited for us to be done. The best and kindest random I have seen in a long time.
From my experience, you don’t need to place that many cameras all over the house, I find it best to have everyone quickly scan the house with thermometers and EMF’s to find the primary room, then set everything up in there
That's what they tried to do, for the most part. They had things set up in the basement (where the ghost was) but a whole lot of nothing happened. Given the type of ghost though, it kinda makes sense why there was so little activity when they went into its room.
I love how they don't scare the players with a jumpscare but instead build up the fear in players with sounds and moving shits. Jumpscares are like a comedian tickling the audience so they will laugh

Yeah. I heard that saying it's name and asking a question are considered as two different things and can either cancel eachother out or prioritize one.
What I do in case we can't find the proper room - is walk around the house yelling the ghost's name followed by curse words, sacrifice one team member for the holy cause, then set up everything around the team member's body while the poor bud is playing a walking simulator... I was sacrificed once, gotta tell ya - best walking simulator ever.
i really wanted some of the popular channels to play like this but, as expected they are noobs at this, like calling the ghost as soon as they enter, not investigating first before calling the ghost, not using tips from comments. This is what i've been looking for.

@@aktaco2099 Maybe so but the in-game voice chat is pretty crucial for an immersive experience. For example you can't communicate with walkie talkies during a hunting if you're using the in-game chat.
Mmm, except they never split up and didn't consider the ghost was a Shade. I'd imagine being grouped outside doesn't matter because you're outside of the "play zone" so the ghost doesn't detect you any more. So when all three were outside and one person would take a step inside, the ghost started a hunt because as far as it was aware, there was a single person in the house.
i just hate it when the lights flicker when in haunt mode there was this night were im watching memes at 3:am but i need to pee it was really dark so i grabbed my broken phone and turned on the flash light then as soon as i leave my room my phone's flashlight starts flickering ;-; i know it was my broken phone but... what the heck
had a feeling it was a shade becayse it liked huntingwhen one person was in the doorway taunting it. fairly sure unless you can hear the ambient rumble you dont count as "inside" for group purposes, even if someone is right next to you at the doorway.

A tip for everybody. If you ask a question and the sentence contains the ghost name it negates the question. The voice recognition only locks onto the name and angers the ghost

As soon as the hunt stops (flashlight not flickering) you can get out, you have a short period of time to move freely until it starts the hunt again. And the incense (banana xD) is best used before it starts the hunt and near the location of where its roaming because it delays the time of when the hunt starts but if the hunt already started its pointless, it won't do any effect. Anyway, good video.
I really love the fact that this gameplay was so calm! It's great to have energy while playing but it's hard to really focus on what's going on in the game when everyone is screaming lol
When you are playing opening and closing the front door while chanting the ghost's name over and over again while your team mates screaming behind the door begging you to open the door.
if anyone interested I can give y’all some advice: - emf can be buggy sometimes so do carry around the room where the ghost is at until u witness emf level 5 meaning all lights need to be on. _ thermometer is really great to find ghost room so always start with thermometer and any room below 13 is very likely the ghost fav room, so drop all your items in ghost fav room. - it’s very unlikely for the ghost to change his fav room, usually they stick to one room so once you found it with thermometer stick to that room. _ questions like “where are you” or “how old are you” seems to be much more effective for spirit box response. _ try to put video camera in an angle where you can see most of the ghost fav room, orbs can only be discovered in ghost fav room. _ once your flashlight starts flicking the ghost is hunting and the minute it stops flicking means you’re safe. Most ghost will hunt if the average sanity of the team is 50% and below, but some ghost can hunt a little above 50 such as mare, and demon can hunt even at 100%. _if you get temperatures like 3 or 5 when finding the ghost don’t scratch freezing immediately, sometimes the temperature will drop below zero eventually especially if u found the room below 5. _ amateurs and intermediate will give you time to set up for example amateur has 5 minute to set up but professional you don’t get any time to set up activities starts once u open the door. When searching ghost in bigger map, pay attention to noises or open doors because if u see an open door most likely the ghost is in that room. -If your sanity is low don’t forget to take a pill so you average the 50% or else chain hunts will stop you from completing objectives quicker. -parabolic microphone is useless. -smudging ghost fav room will prevent hunting for 1 minute but increase their activity for that while, so if you want to stay away from hunts and take a picture of the ghost smudging could be a good idea. Also if it’s a spirit it will stop her from hunting for 4 min. Hope it helped in some ways!

As soon as the hunt stops (flashlight not flickering) you can get out, you have a short period of time to move freely until it starts the hunt again. And the incense (banana xD) is best used before it starts the hunt and near the location of where its roaming because it delays the time of when the hunt starts but if the hunt already started its pointless, it won't do any effect. Anyway, good video.

reminds me when my friends and i started playing the game for the first time lmao
if anyone interested I can give y’all some advice:
- emf can be buggy sometimes so do carry around the room where the ghost is at until u witness emf level 5 meaning all lights need to be on.
_ thermometer is really great to find ghost room so always start with thermometer and any room below 13 is very likely the ghost fav room, so drop all your items in ghost fav room.
- it’s very unlikely for the ghost to change his fav room, usually they stick to one room so once you found it with thermometer stick to that room.
_ questions like “where are you” or “how old are you” seems to be much more effective for spirit box response.
_ try to put video camera in an angle where you can see most of the ghost fav room, orbs can only be discovered in ghost fav room.
_ once your flashlight starts flicking the ghost is hunting and the minute it stops flicking means you’re safe.
Most ghost will hunt if the average sanity of the team is 50% and below, but some ghost can hunt a little above 50 such as mare, and demon can hunt even at 100%.
_if you get temperatures like 3 or 5 when finding the ghost don’t scratch freezing immediately, sometimes the temperature will drop below zero eventually especially if u found the room below 5.
_ amateurs and intermediate will give you time to set up for example amateur has 5 minute to set up but professional you don’t get any time to set up activities starts once u open the door.
When searching ghost in bigger map, pay attention to noises or open doors because if u see an open door most likely the ghost is in that room.
-If your sanity is low don’t forget to take a pill so you average the 50% or else chain hunts will stop you from completing objectives quicker.
-parabolic microphone is useless.
-smudging ghost fav room will prevent hunting for 1 minute but increase their activity for that while, so if you want to stay away from hunts and take a picture of the ghost smudging could be a good idea. Also if it’s a spirit it will stop her from hunting for 4 min.
