Just finished reading about Held bids in One Good Trade so this is a timely topic. What an excellent example. In One Good Trade Mike talks about scouting for 50c moves, this trade in COIN is a layup opportunity for this. "If you get exactly what you wanted, you have to be prepared to take advantage of it." - Jeff.

This is such a solid video. Read over the section in The Playbook plenty of times but seeing it first hand this cleanly is 10/10
Something else that I caught that wasn’t mentioned was the amount of volume done every time the chart touched the declining trend line and even when it broke out. I believe Justin and Jeff talked about this in Justin‘s “tick by tick” exercise about the importance of using the volume at these areas as a confirmation that other participants are acknowledging the trend line. Very clean tape and video.
    Thanks guys 🤟

I had the same type of held bid on AFRM at $18 on 6/17/2022 near the end of the day. With such a tight stop I traded max size.

Good clip and discussion gents. When demand is there, offers are bought hard and sellers raise their offers n buyers step up. Nice to see. Thanks.

But if coin was in a buy program why does the teacher tell student to close when the student was right and should have held?

Today I was caught again…. I have seen 172 level . Waited 171 bid hold or rebid rapidly. Got false breakout on 172 but did not exit. I have seen that there is nothing on tape about aggressive buying but I did not take exit. It seems some psychological problems with me

can anyone explain how a buyer is able to do this and show no size on the level 2? wouldn't the ordersize need to show at some point? This has to be some algo buying, right?

What program/service is being used in this video for the level 2? I know that isn't ToS's level 2.😊

I've only been trading 2 years but this was the coolest tape reading video I've ever seen. Wow. That seems like a load the boat situation for sure. I did notice the stuff around the .45. One question is, would you be exiting that trade with a limit order, or a market order? Thank you. Excellent excellent stuff.

hit the bid, nobody should every use market orders. if you have to do that, you didn't have an exit plan in place. you'll end up wasting money

GR8trade, is their proprietary software. BUT its very very similar to DAS Trader, except das doesn't have all the extra additions SMB has coded into it the.the L2 on das/lightspeed are identical to what you see in this video, both of which i use daily

GR8Trade, you can use DAS Trader or lightspeed. its identical to what they're using tape wise, data probably comes from das too honestly.
