It's pretty addictive! I'm not sure the lack of direct multiplayer really hurts the game, but thankfully the weekly challenge helps to fill that void. Thanks for checking out the video!
@@TalonGaming_YT your right its pretty adictive cause when i started playing it somewhere around 2017 i couldn't stop but i stopped playing in 2019 beacause there weren't any updates. I came back to play it again in 2021

I just had a look at the game you mentioned (Atom Zombie Smasher), and it looks really neat! Simple, but very fun looking!! Gotta love those types of games!!

I haven't yet, but I love strategy and tower defense type games so I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and give this one a go!!

I think once you've completed the introductory mission you'll have a better idea. It would be worth playing one of the other game modes (weekly challenge or survival) if you want to be a little more prepared for the campaign though. Great game in any case!
There will never be another SC2 but i heard this is similar in some respects
There might be some similarities, but you don't get that same feel as this one is fairly slow paced until the shit hits the fan and then you can just pause the game lol.

Don't get me wrong the game is really great but my goodness the friendly a.i soldiers are really bad alot of time,I'll have 4 soldiers in a tower and 10 zombies will be attacking a wall 6 blocks away and my soldiers won't do anything,
Haha, yeah. They have a pretty limited range at first. Once they're upgraded a bit and are veterans they become pretty potent little killers!!

this aby hood on console? need more rts on series x. I play stellaris too
I played it on PC, but perhaps somebody else would be able to chime in. The only real issue with this style of game on a console is that using a gamepad would be pretty slow compared to a mouse. Add a mouse and I think you'd be set.

KB & Mouse support is certainly a game changer!
@@TalonGaming_YT it honestly is great. Although it's slowly been rolling out on newer games on console it's starting to get implimented in more mainstream games, the most notable being cod. This being notable as the playerbase is HUGE and exposes more and more consoles players to the benifits of kb+m gameplay.
Hopefully this drums up more support for more kb+m compatability on xbox as the series s has basically become Microsofts version of it's own proprietary mini gaming pc for people who don't have the option to drop a boatload of cash on building an actual desktop pc.
Single player only? You cant even co-op vs AI?
No, it's single player only. There are challenges which you compete against other players on the leaderboard, but that's it. The game is still an easy 60+ hours of gameplay though, for just the campaign.

No problem, glad you found the video useful. To be able to play a bit more casually, a save feature (mid scenario) would have been fantastic! It's still a great game, and pretty addictive, but a save feature would be a great quality of life upgrade!
The developers changed "mankind" to "humankind" because they felt "mankind" was sexist. Off-putting that a videogame is tackling "issues" like these. But one word doesn't ruin a game, I'll definitely try this one out.
