A little disappointed auto show at the Javits Center this year..For some reasons BMW Mercedes Benz Range Rover Maserati Jaguar Cadillac didnt attend the NY Auto Show. Audi had cut their cost with one or two cars on display.. I think their company's marketing experts might think it's not feasible to attend these auto shows..Genesis went all out displaying all their models with 4 Concept cars..They definitely score a lot of points with that.. Also it seems like every year less and less side vendors attend due to the retail sales domination of the internet technology..and I'm sure these auto shows space rentals is a hefty price to rent them out..Nobody is giving out free stuff no more..only Toyota is giving out free bags to pamphlets in but there is no pamphlets to give out.. you want info on a car? Scan their barcode..Oh boy! Gimme a break!!..
I agree with everything you said. I used to collect a bunch of pamphlets of the cars and love looking at them but it's expensive to print them and car companies are looking to reduce cost and waste. Also the covid devastated a lot of businesses and this is the lasting effects of the pandemic. There used to be two levels of show floor filled to the gills with cars. Now the cars are spaced out so far fro each other and there's plenty of space. Also noticed the crowds are not what they used to be. I went Saturday March 30 and it was not that busy like in the past. Maybe having auto shows will soon become a thing of the past.
Thank you for this video. I have been attending the NY Auto show since the early 1970s and it was a great show in its heyday. However it has been a huge disappointment these past few years, and this year looks to be the same. I will skip it.

The entire Genesis lineup is ugly no matter what.
